Busting Selena Gomez Romance Rumors One Rapper At A Time

Selena GomezFROM MTV NEWS: Waka Flocka Flame isn't a name that appears on Hollywood Crush often. (Or, really, ever.) But when it comes to romance rumors regarding one of our favorite females (i.e. Miss Selena Gomez), you know we're going to get to the bottom of it.

Waka stopped by "RapFix Live" yesterday, and talk turned to a series of tweets that could allude to something romantical between him and the 20-year-old. But as Waka told host Sway, that's simply not the case.

5 Reasons We Want Trailblazer Emma Watson To Be Our BFF

Hollywood Crush

5 Reasons We Want Trailblazer Emma Watson To Be Our BFF

Emma WatsonEmma Watson isn't just a talented actress, multiple MTV Movie Awards nominee and this year's recipient of our Trailblazer Award for general awesomeness. She's also our BESTEST FRIEND...in the alternate reality we sometimes dream of to escape the dull drag of our oh-so-pedestrian little lives. Sigh.

But really, there's a reason why Emma would be such a perfect BFF for we ordinary ladies—several reasons, actually! And in honor of her upcoming appearance at the MTV Movie Awards, we've listed out the top five sources of Emma's awesomeness. Check it:

1. She's got the most raid-able closet, ever.

Emma's style icon status means she'd be our go-to bestie for fashion advice, beauty tips and maybe the occasional loaner from her gorgeous wardrobe.

2. She's un-ruffle-able under pressure.

It's hard to think of anyone who's coped with her celebrity status as gracefully as Emma; not only has she been totally straightforward about the effects of being so famous, but she's never shied away from setting the record straight. (Remember those rumors that she'd left Brown University because of bullying? Her response: "I wasn't going to wuss out of university because someone said 'Wingardium leviosa' to me in a corridor!")

3. She brought Hermione and Sam to life.

Playing a beloved book character on-screen is a heavy responsibility for any actress; Emma's done it twice, spectacularly.

4. She's not too cool for school.

And not just literally, either (although the actress has studied at two elite universities.) Emma has a famously down-to-earth approach to her social life, from kicking around with her non-celebrity boyfriend to (allegedly) adopting a pseudonym from 1980s British sitcom "Yes, Prime Minister" in order to stay under the radar at Oxford.

5. She's the best at spells.

We know, we know; Harry Potter doesn't exist, and magic is all make-believe. But, I mean, if it weren't make-believe, and if it were real, and if we needed someone to obliviate all our ex-boyfriends so they'd never remember seeing us naked, then the brightest witch at Hogwarts would be a good friend to have. (P.S. IT'S REAL.)

Will Jennifer Lawrence get her silver lining in the form of a Golden Popcorn? Which beefcake will sizzle in our brand-new Best Shirtless Performance category? It's up to you to decide the winners of the 2013 MTV Movie Awards! Vote now, and tune in Sunday, April 14 at 9 p.m. ET, as star Rebel Wilson takes the stage at the Sony Pictures Studios lot in Culver City, California.

'Divergent' Gets Three More Dauntless Dudes

Hollywood Crush

'Divergent' Gets Three More Dauntless Dudes

All aboard the Dauntless train, y'all! And you'd better run to catch this one, because it's starting to pick up steam: Three newcomers to the faction have joined the cast of "Divergent," filling out almost all the bunks in the initiates' quarters.

Fresh on the roster of cast members: Ben Lloyd-Hughes, Ben Lamb and Christian Madsen, who'll play (respectively) wannabe Dauntless members Will, Edward and Al. The trio are allies of main character Tris during the brutal and terrifying initiation process, and damn fine specimens of exquisite hotness bravery; you can expect to see them in action during the movie's most exciting sequences as Tris and her compatriots have their mettle tested in ways both physical and mental. (Although if you've read the book, you also know that you probably shouldn't get too attached to...well, one of them. We won't say who!)

All three actors are more or less fresh on the Hollywood scene, although you may recognize Lloyd-Hughes from his role on the British version of "Skins"—and if you're thinking that Christian Madsen looks eerily familiar, it's probably because he's a spitting image of his actor-dad Michael Madsen. (Seriously, it's a little freaky.) And with the exception of one or two minor antagonists and the part of Tris' mom, their addition to the cast pretty much fills out the film's available roles. So...I mean, can we get some set photos now? Character portraits? A title poster? Anything!

Are you psyched to see the "Divergent" cast filling out?

'What The Spell?' Charms 'Glee'

Thanks to last night's revealing "Glee" episode, we now know all the New Directioners' deepest, darkest, dirtiest secrets—like Kitty's adoration for the Spice Girls and Sam's status as a Fanilow. But pop peccadilloes weren't the only guilty pleasures on display.

Things took a turn for the literary when Blaine stumbled upon Sam tearing through copies of R.L. Stine's "Goosebumps" in the library. But there was another novel cameo you may have missed! Could Stephen Amell Dominate The 'Fifty Shades Of Grey' Movie?

Could Stephen Amell Dominate The 'Fifty Shades Of Grey' Movie?

Things have been quiet on the "Fifty Shades of Grey" front. We know something is happening with that movie, but we have no idea what. But now comes word that "Arrow" star and all-around-dream-man Stephen Amell (and his perfect abs and baby blues) could tackle the role of Christian Grey. Our pulses are racing!

"I get questions about Christian Grey all the time," Stephen shared on Facebook. "That project is a long way off. I know this, because I had a meeting about it. Long way off. I mean, not that long, but not close. I wouldn't call it long, but I wouldn't call it close."

Of all the hotties that have been rumored for this role, Stephen would be a pretty great choice. He has the looks. The abs. And just the right amount of star power. He’s not headlining movies—yet—but also not a complete unknown. He needs that extra push to make him a household name. This movie would definitely do it.

We also know he can brood in the hottest way possible thanks to that other slightly damaged rich-guy role on The CW. And if he’s not worried about typecasting, we’re not sure you should be either. He added, "You know what you have to do to get typecast? You have to work. A bunch. And working as an actor is the most important thing. I think one of the highest honors you can have as an actor is to be typecast because that means you've done a significant amount of work in one specific realm."

No arguments from us here. We just wonder who could get freaky with him and star as Anastasia. If the studio is reading this, we might be able to find some time in our schedules...

5 Things To Do Before Seeing 'Spring Breakers'

Hollywood Crush

5 Things To Do Before Seeing 'Spring Breakers'

Spring Breakersby Jessica Marshall

"Spring Breakers" isn't an average tale of sandy beach shenanigans, poolside partying and blackout drinking.

Instead, it's a gritty look at a dark side of the sun-soaked American co-ed tradition of spring break—with all the sex, guns and girls gone wild that go with it.

"Kids" screenwriter Harmony Korine penned and directed "Spring Breakers," starring former Disney princesses Selina Gomez and Vanessa Hudgens, as well as "Pretty Little Liars" star Ashley Benson and Korine's own wife, Rachel. The film chronicles the seriously illegal and morally questionable misadventures of four friends as they steal, con, snort and shoot their way through a very memorable vacation in sunny Florida. A seedy local gangster named Alien (James Franco), chaperones their nefarious binging, landing the misfit gals smack in the middle of a gang war.

Sounds like a typical spring break...but before you go wild, here are five things you should do before seeing "Spring Breakers."

Go on Spring Break

Hit the beach in Daytona and party your face off. One week in the sun and you'll have a sense of why the crazy girls in this movie would rob a diner and steal a car to get their spring break on. There are many less illegal ways to get to Florida though, and we highly recommend you get there responsibly. And don't forget the sunscreen. Your skin will thank you when you're too old to do this spring break thing.

Candy-coat your life

The film is characterized largely by the juxtaposition of dark, gritty themes and bright, candy-hued colors. From aqua-colored bikinis to bubblegum-pink ski masks, everything pops onscreen. Dig through your closet or go out and buy some obnoxiously candy-coated stuff to bring with you on spring break, whether it's a bathing suit, a cell phone case or a pair of sunglasses. We don't recommend the ski mask...unless your spring break actually involves skiing.

Roll in the dough

Empty the contents of your wallet or piggy bank onto your bed and roll around in your money for a while. Revel in your hard-earned cash! It's Alien's favorite thing to do (besides singing Britney Spears songs with underage girls and shooting people).

Sing Britney songs

In one slightly unsettling part of the film, Alien and the girls gather 'round a grand piano and belt out a rendition of Britney Spears' "Everytime." We all know the words to at least one Britney ditty, so let it out! It will kick any spring break party up a notch!

Watch "Kids"

"Spring Breakers" director and screenwriter Harmony Korine got his big break at age 19, when he penned the screenplay for the soberingly realistic movie "Kids." It also started the acting careers of Chloe Sevigny and Rosario Dawson. It has a similar cinematic vibe to "Spring Breakers," but we're warning you, this movie will probably scare the crap out of you.

BONUS: Get Alien cornrows

James Franco sports some epic cornrows onscreen (and an equally epic grill). We're pretty sure that if you adopt the hairstyle, you will rock it infinitely more than he does.

Will you be seeing "Spring Breakers" this weekend?

5 Reasons Taissa Farmiga Should Be In Everything

5 Reasons Taissa Farmiga Should Be In Everything

Taissa FarmigaLately, it seems like you can't so much as glance at the internet without seeing a new announcement about some hot young starlet or another being tapped for the career-making lead role in an important new film. Which is all well and good and very exciting, except for just one thing: None of the hot young starlets in question is ever Taissa Farmiga.

Which, if you're at all familiar with Taissa and her awesome acting talents, is clearly NOT OKAY. And while we're not saying that Taissa should be cast in every single thing, ever, for the rest of time (except when we do, for which we are not even remotely sorry), it should go without saying that we all need more Taissa Farmiga screen-time, because of reasons. The top five of which are...

5. Awesomeness is in her genes.

It was older sister Vera Farmiga (of "Up in the Air"), who finally convinced Taissa to give the family biz a try; the actress made her on-screen debut playing a younger version of Vera in "Higher Ground."

4. She's multi-talented!

In addition to her acting talents, she's fluent in American Sign Language.

3. She's one half of the most devastatingly romantic emo screen couple ever to grace our televisions.

As Violet in "American Horror Story," Taissa played no small part in making the classmate-murdering, latex-wearing, demented romantic Tate Langdon (Evan Peters) seem like a believable dreamboat.

2. She's got one of Hollywood's most unique faces.

All the cookie cutter teens who play classic small-screen pretty girls start to blend together after awhile; in a sea of big eyes and button noses, Taissa's look is seriously refreshing.

1. She's got excellent taste.

Not only did she have the stones to make her breakout role on the dark, twisted, subversively campy first season of "American Horror Story," Taissa has since shown a penchant for picking smart scripts, from a supporting role (this time playing Vera Farmiga's daughter) in the indie romance "Middleton," to teaming up with Sofia Coppola for "The Bling Ring."

Do you want to see more Taissa in your movies?

'Divergent' Hunk Four Has Been Found!

Hollywood Crush

'Divergent' Hunk Four Has Been Found!

Theo JamesOkay, YA fans: We're thinking of a number between one and 10. Can you guess what it is? We'll give you a hint: It's a magic number. A mysterious number. A number that connotes strength, and courage, and brooding tortured hotness that makes Abnegation transfers go weak in their selfless little knees.

You do know where we're going with this, right? You are getting ready to scream with delight, aren't you? Because yes, the "Divergent" movie has finally cast its leading man: The role of Dauntless leader Four will be played by "Golden Boy" star Theo James.

"Divergent" takes place in an alternate future, where the now-ruined city of Chicago has spawned a new society made up of five factions, each aligning with a single core value. The heroine, Tris, chooses to leave her family in Abnegation (the faction of selflessness) and join the Dauntless (courageous thrill-seekers who travel around by leaping on and off moving trains), but discovers an unusual secret about her status in the process: She's Divergent, and Divergents are dangerous.

The last time we saw Theo, he was playing the role of a Turkish diplomat on "Downton Abbey" and meeting a most untimely end in the bedchambers of one Lady Mary Crawley. But he'll be very far from Downton in his next role, as the enigmatic young member of the Dauntless faction who guides Tris through the trials that will determine her faction and her fate—not to mention as the man responsible for bringing to life of one of YA's most alluring heartthrobs, in a role that was one of the most sought-after for pretty much every guy in Hollywood. He's probably calling Robert Pattinson for pro tips right now!

Okay, so what do you think? Can you dig Theo as Four, or were you hoping for someone else?

Judd Apatow Promises 'Beautiful Ending' For 'Girls' Season Finale

Judd Apatow Promises 'Beautiful Ending' For 'Girls' Season Finale

GirlsFrom a cocaine bender to a Q-Tip blunder, it's been a dark and twisty season for Hannah Horvath and her "Girls" ... and boys. (I mean, we'll have that Adam-Natalia sex scene burned into our brains forever...)

While we have no idea how the season will conclude on Sunday night, we did speak with a man who has some insight: executive producer Judd Apatow.

"I'm very proud of the season finale," Judd said by phone earlier this week. "I co-wrote it with Lena [Dunham], and you know, the last three episodes are almost like a three-part mini-series. I think it has a beautiful ending, and I think people are really going to like it."

Of course, much of what made this season great (and cringe-worthy) wouldn't have been possible if Lena hadn't been willing to continually push her (and our) boundaries.

"Lena's very brave and willing to go to some dark places, and I'm just so impressed by what she's decided to do with this show and new areas she's chosen to cover, and it's also really funny," Judd said. "I think people are going to like it. I'm very proud of the entire season. I think it all comes together beautifully. I can't say there won't be more uncomfortable moments." (No surprise there...)

Thanks to the quirks of scheduling, the series' writers often find themselves breaking a new season while the previous one is concluding, which Judd said adds an interesting wrinkle to the creative process.

"We start shooting the new season next month," Judd said. "It's funny for us because we're always hearing all the feedback from the previous season at the exact moment that we're getting ready to start shooting the next. So it's helpful for us to know how people are responding. It actually kind of electrifies the whole process of trying to make the show because people have such a strong reaction to it."

Stay tuned to MTV Movies Blog next week as we role out our entire interview with Judd, in which we discuss the home-video release of "This Is Forty."

'Vampire Diaries' Recap: 'Bring It On'

Hollywood Crush

'Vampire Diaries' Recap: 'Bring It On'

Vampire Diariesby Cassie Title

Sometimes when "The Vampire Diaries" goes on hiatus for two weeks, so many exciting things happen upon its return that I don't even know how to start a recap! For instance, I could start by talking about the fact that humanity-less Elena wants all of us to know that she simply doesn't care. And I believe her, except: Isn’t it a sign that you care if you keep telling people you don’t?

I was also thinking I’d write about Silas, because even though he hardly figured into this episode, they made a big deal about this whole multi-hospital-blood-bag-thievery thing, and Damon’s convinced that Silas is the culprit, because he’s been frozen for however many thousands of years and needs to feed.

Oh, and there’s the obvious title choice: "Bring it On" is an ode to the classic cheerleader movie about spunky girls and spunky attitudes, and since Elena rejoined cheerleading, you could say it was a reference. But there’s also the fact that she’s fighting with everyone, especially Caroline, who she tries to stake, and she’s all tough girl to everyone, like, bring it on, bitches!

But what I’m really going to go with is my new favorite subject: Elena. Yes, folks, you read that right. I freaking love Elena. Now, I’m guessing it won’t last for long (she’s usually such a bore), but tonight, she was fun, sharp, logical and, of course, pretty bad. I’m going to elaborate.

Why Elena is now great:

Yes, she’s feeding on people (tricking innocent drivers by lying down in the road, going so far as to join cheerleading so she can eat some vervain-free competition, attempting to feed on Caroline’s mom) but she’s being interesting, for once. She’s letting loose, having fun, dancing around, throwing parties at the Salvatore mansion. She’s also being cleanly logical: Yes, obviously everyone wants her to feel again, but for now, she’s finally saying things like they are and avoiding her usual more-righteous-than-thou shtick. She tells Damon that he can admit he likes her better like this; she has this brutally honest, deadpan conversation with Liz, pre-attempted attack; she tells Stefan not to compare her to Katherine, because Katherine’s afraid of her own shadow, but Elena isn’t afraid of anything; she tells Stefan that she remembers they had good sex, but she doesn’t feel anything about it anymore, and the fact that he does, the fact that she is his whole world, suggests that he should turn off his emotions, as well. Some of these things are painful, some of these things are mean, and some of them aren’t the best way to do something. But they’re all pretty much true.

So I really like Phoebe Tonkin, but:

As interested in her storyline as I am, I feel as if the producers just really ended up liking her and wanting to use her. Which is totally fine, but I wish they had dealt with her plotline better in the last bunch of episodes. She disappeared and came back and it feels too forced. That being said, I dig her. Like, I really like her. I want to know all about her freaky birth mark and her werewolf clan in New Orleans and her search for her birth family and why she’s so into Tyler when he’s pretty lame and what possessed her to have really hot, almost violent sex with Klaus.

Tyler Lockwood:

It seems he’s gone for good. He signed over the deed of his house to Matt, which was really nice, because not only is every Lockwood dead besides Ty, (Richard! Carol! Mason!), but Matt, that lovely, poor, abandoned kid who somehow miraculously supports himself and hasn’t gotten put somewhere by child protective services, needs a huge house to stay in. Because he really needs all the rooms. But, really. Tyler wrote a letter to Caroline, saying goodbye forever. (Wait. Didn’t this happen two episodes ago?) I guess Caroline will have to stop leaving voice messages for him; it’s basically taken the place of Elena or Stefan reading their idiotic diaries, and it’s starting to get old.

Hayley and Katherine:

Yo! You guys! Apparently they worked together! I know we found this out last time, but Hayley explains that Katherine had a network of allies who were loyal to her, and that’s how she escaped Klaus for all this time. Damon seems to think that Kat wants to shove the cure down Klaus’s throat, and I guess kill him. Katherine apparently found Hayley in New Orleans, saying that she could help Hayley find her birth family. That’s why Hayley told her about the cure and shiz. But now that Kat has no use for Hayley anymore, she assigns a minion to get rid of her. Except, this minion is bitten by Klaus. And his name happens to be Will.

Will:

Whoa. Apparently, Damon knew Will! There is a picture of them! I’m guessing it was taken in New York, because that’s where Damon takes Elena at the end of the episode. And where we’ll see them next episode. But Will is dying! And Damon says he'll help! And then he tears his heart out! ‘Cause he's too far gone! And it's all loving and merciful, like he did for Rose, but he had Klaus’s blood! WHY IS IT TOO LATE? And now they have no easy way to get to Katherine! And I have no way of finding out who Will is at the moment! This looks so exciting I want to learn about him! I can’t fathom that Damon had a friend other than Alaric!

Vervained Water, Sire Bonds, The Usual:

Vervain in the water is the newest excuse for nakedness. Apparently, the Salvatore mansion magically pumps water that’s not affected. So that explains why Caroline is sitting there in a bathrobe, waiting to scrub down. Then Elena comes out of the shower and drops trou. When everybody looks at her all crazy, she's all like: Hey, it’s nothing you guys haven’t seen before. Which is so true, ‘cause both Damon and Stefan have seen her naked. Oh, and later on she flirts with Stefan, changing in front of him. And stretching her leg suggestively on his shoulder. It’s really weird, because it’s going against what I think is right: Elena is in love with Damon, sire bond or not. She’s no longer in love with Stefan. But all of these things make the other characters’ dumb opinions seem true: That when she’s no longer sired, she’ll love Stefan again. Which is so wrong for so many reasons; I’m not going to even bother talking about it again, because if you believe that she only loves Damon because she’s sired to him, you’ve clearly been missing the point. But, Damon tells her to not eat people, and have fun at school, but she keeps eating people. And Stefan realizes that the sire bond isn’t working, because it was born out of her feelings for Damon (FEELINGS THAT WERE ALREADY PRESENT, PEOPLE. GET IT?). So Elena’s sired no more, I guess. It’s sorta confusing, because I’m not sure of Elena and Damon’s relationship status. At the end, they’re road-tripping to New York, so maybe we’ll see that she loves him. Except she has no feelings. And no sire bond. She’s kind of just out of control, in general. I do have to commend Nina, though. She’s playing emotionless Elena well; not quite Katherine, who can feel and is feisty and evil but full of life, but a compelling character who’s actually devoid of feeling, but can still have a good time. I know we’ll get our old Elena back, but for now, I’m enjoying this "better version"— as she calls herself, questionably, I know, but show-wise, it’s true.

What did you think of this week’s episode? Were you crawling with anticipation the last two weeks? Theories on Will? Excited for the trip to New York? Impressed with Nina’s acting? Wondering where Bonnie was? Is Tyler ever coming back? Freaked out about the Hayley/Klaus thing? Where is Katherine? Did you like Rebekah calling Damon a brain-damaged Sherlock? We were in a hospital; where was Meredith Fell? Am I really supposed to believe four seasons later that Elena’s mom, Caroline’s mom and Bonnie’s mom were all best friends in high school, and they’ve basically never mentioned it? Shouldn’t that have been the first thing, "Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants" style? Were you confused that Liz was hanging with Stefan and not her usual Salvatore? Is Rebekah’s obsession with being human again almost as annoying as everyone’s obsession with thinking Elena’s “too good” to be a vampire? Let us know, via Twitter or below!

Oliva Wilde Goes Wild During After Hours

Oliva Wilde Goes Wild During After Hours

Olivia Wilde is magical in the upcoming comedy "The Incredible Burt Wonderstone," starring Steve Carell and Jim Carrey, but the actress' real passion lies with all things wild. Seriously. That's why she changed her surname. "The smell of the sweat of the animals—it gets me going," Olivia told our own Josh Horowitz during the latest episode of our web series After Hours. "So I decided I wanted my name to reflect my feeling about that."

What else did we learn during "Wild Animal Kingdom"? Well, for one, Olivia looks particularly lovely in a safari hat (or two strategically placed...). Also, dogs do not like Josh. But we don't really want to get into the reasons for that because ewwwww.

Selena Gomez Recalls Her Most Intense 'Spring Breakers' Moment

Selena Gomez Recalls Her Most Intense 'Spring Breakers' Moment

What's Selena Gomez's favorite scene from her new flick, "Spring Breakers"? The actress doesn't give specifics, but it sounds like we'll know it when we see it...and when we see it, it sounds like we might wish we hadn't. In an interview with MTV News, Selena described the challenging moment:

"There is a scene in the movie where James and I have a confrontation—a very awkward, uncomfortable confrontation," she said. And not only was the moment intense, but Selena went into it totally unrehearsed.

"I knew about that scene two minutes before we shot it," she explained. "I was supposed to be finished for the day. We had finished the crying scene. I was in the pool house and I was bawling, and I was so tired of crying—because you get exhausted from crying. I was like, 'Oh, I'm done.'"

Except that she wasn't: "[Director] Harmony [Korine] pulls me aside, and he goes, 'All right, so we're gonna do a scene in here with you and James.' And he goes, 'He's going to convince you to stay with the girls.' and I go, 'OK, well, what do I say? Am I sad? Am I mad? Am I scared?' And he goes, 'Sure.' And I was like, 'Well, wait a minute. What's happening?'"

The answer to that question being... well, we don't know. Selena, perhaps out of a desire not to spoil the scene for moviegoers, will only say that something happened, and it was CRAZY.

"That scene was absolutely intense and so real, because I had no idea that that was going to happen, and [James] was so brilliant in it."

So, basically, go see "Spring Breakers." Watch for the part where James holds Selena's hand. And then brace yourself for intense real brilliance that may or may not make you very uncomfortable! Yay!

"Spring Breakers" hits theaters in New York and L.A. tomorrow and nationwide March 22.

Is your interest piqued by Selena's description of her freaky Franco scene?

Nina Dobrev Beats People Up On 'Conan'

Nina Dobrev Beats People Up On 'Conan'

The takeaway from what you're about to see? Never, ever, ever question the legitimacy of Nina Dobrev's butt-stomping skills—lest you end up taking a beer stein to the head.

Alas, this lesson comes too late for Conan O'Brien, who had the audacity to tell Nina during her guest appearance on his show that, y'know, she just doesn't seem like much of an ass-kicker. He's gotta be hurting today; Nina and her traveling tag team of stuntmen went bananas on their host, until the "Vampire Diaries" star hurled him bodily through the wall.

And the action doesn't stop there! Which is to say, Nina also joined Conan in a spirited discussion of just how many of her show's male cast members she's made out with (spoiler: ALL OF THEM) and what it was like to get sex scene tips from her mom (spoiler: AWKWARD). The whole thing was so hot that Zach Braff, who'd been quietly sitting on the couch during Nina's turn in the spotlight, momentarily erupted into shirt-rending excitement. No, seriously: that happened. And considering what went on the last time Nina paid a visit to "Conan," we're kinda starting to wonder whether there's something in the water at the TBS studios. Stunt scenes? Maternal sex tips? Yogic crotch-massages? What is it about Conan that drives Nina crazy? Discuss!

Anna Kendrick's No Good, Very Bad Days

"Pitch Perfect" starlet Anna Kendrick had the good fortune to snag an MTV Movie Awards nomination last week alongside her singing co-stars (including host Rebel Wilson), but in an unfortunate twist of fate, this week, Anna's short a few other possessions.

The actress took to Twitter today to bemoan her bad luck, and we can hardly blame her! That's a major bummer for sure. But at least she's good-natured enough to make a joke of it. Hopefully, she can replace her items with little muss or fuss. Good luck, Anna!

'Catching Fire' Capitol Portrait EXCLUSIVE: Feast Your Eyes On Finnick!

Finnick OdairHold on to your tridents, Finnick fans! As part of Lionsgate's roll out of super-sumptuous Capitol Portraits featuring our favorite "Catching Fire" crew members, Hollywood Crush has the distinct pleasure of unveiling the visage of District 4's hunkiest of hunks (played by actor Sam Claflin)! The only thing that could make this EXCLUSIVE even better? If Finnick were fitted in his barely-there gold fishnet costume from the Tribute Parade. But all in due time.

And that's not to say the outfit featured here doesn't reflect the tribute's aquatic roots. In fact, there's something positively pirate-esque about Finnick's unbuttoned-down-to-there linen shirt, flouncy evergreen pants and lace-up boots. Let's just say, he's shivering our timbers something good.

Click past the jump to see the full Capitol Portrait!

As fans of Suzanne Collins' novel—upon which the film is based—can attest, Finnick plays an integral role in the events of the Quarter Quell, also known as the 75th annual Hunger Games, in which Katniss and Peeta are once again thrust into the deadly arena for another bloody battle.

Style Superstar: Zoe Saldana Legs It Out In Leather

Hollywood Crush

Style Superstar: Zoe Saldana Legs It Out In Leather

After weeks of awards season haute couture, all those glamorous evening gowns are starting to blur together into one giant, indiscriminate blob of chiffon-satin-organza-whatever. So this week, we're giving ourselves a break from the dress parade, and the Style Superstar props to a pair of ladies who went for fresh, sleek, sophisticated looks that involve...pants. Pants! Imagine!

This week's best? It's Zoe Saldana, who wins all of the awards for her chic look at the Miu Miu show during Paris Fashion Week. Skinny leather leggings, sophisticated stilettos, a pop of bright lipstick and the perfect cozy camel coat to finish it off. This outfit, with its clean lines and contrasting textures, is Exhibit A in the case for Zoe as the reigning queen of casual style. Well played, Superstar.

Meanwhile, Abigail Breslin took a pair of wide-leg trousers to their dressy limit, with a dramatic all-black ensemble at the premiere of her new film, "The Call." With her long blonde hair in a 1940s-style sweep, a big bow, and just a peek of midriff above her high-waisted pants, this is a daring look that paid off for the young actress—except for the part where her pants are so long that there's no sign of her feet anywhere. Here's hoping she finds her way to a tailor before she wears them again, because denying the public a peek at her undoubtedly-fabulous shoes is just not fair.

'The Selection' Crowns Its King

Hollywood Crush

'The Selection' Crowns Its King

With its most important bachelorettes in place, "The Selection" is finally getting around to populating its royal palace—with a qualified gentleman to sit on the biggest throne!

The Hollywood Reporter has the dish that Anthony Head, former father figure to the stake-toting Buffy Summers on "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," is officially on board to play King Clarkson.

Or, in other words: The King is Giles! LONG LIVE THE KING!

"The Selection" takes place in a futuristic North America, where democracy has been replaced by a monarchy and the population occupies a rigid caste system. One of the only chances for upward mobility is a national, "Bachelorette" style contest for the kingdom's biggest prize: the handsome, eligible Prince Maxon. The story focuses on America Singer, a working-class girl who finds herself a front-runner in the competition to become Maxon's leading lady.

Anthony is the latest addition to a cast that already includes Yael Grobglas as America, Michael Malarkey as the handsome prince and Lucien Laviscount as America's hometown love Aspen. But with no word on whether Leonor Varela, who was previously attached to the project, is still in place to play Queen Amberly, this may not be the last of the royal casting announcements to come out before "The Selection" begins shooting.

What do you think of Anthony in a royal role?

'Pretty Little Liars' Recap: 'Will The Circle Be Unbroken?'

Hollywood Crush

'Pretty Little Liars' Recap: 'Will The Circle Be Unbroken?'

Pretty Little LiarsWho would have ever guessed that, among the Rosewood Four, Spencer would be the weakest link? With her school-book smarts and level-headed demeanor, she seemed the least vulnerable to A's games. But then came Toby, and everything changed.

Last night's "Will the Circle Be Unbroken" began with Spencer still missing, holed up in Radley after being discovered wandering the woods. But, oddly, the youngest Hastings didn't realize where she was until a kindly orderly told her so. "Compared to county, this is Vegas," he mused, explaining what the "302" on her chart meant (psych hold instead of jail time) and that a doctor would be in shortly to examine her. But instead of Wren (as I was sort of expecting), Dr. Sullivan showed up. (Doesn't Radley have its own team of physicians? Why would they call someone in?)

Spencer told Dr. Sullivan that she knew who she was all along, but that it felt good not to be herself, even if only for a couple of hours.

"What happened in the woods that made you not want to be Spencer?" Dr. Sullivan prodded.

"Toby Cavanaugh is dead," Spencer replied. Or is he? Dr. Sullivan wasn't sure whether to believe Spencer's version of events, especially considering she didn't actually see Toby's face.

Outside of Radley, Hanna and her mom received their own unexpected visitor: Officer Wilden! He's alive, having taken a few days off for a "fishing trip." However, methinks the Ladies Marin aren't off the hook just yet. (Fishing...hook...heh.)

Aria, meanwhile, was trying to finagle another Hollis job out of her father on Ezra's behalf. And for some reason, he agreed to look into it. But nothing was open, leading Ezra to apply to substitute teach in the district. Leading Aria's vice principal to ask about her relationship with Ezra. Leading to a very awkward denial from Aria.

Spencer continued to sweet talk her orderly, whom she discovered was the real E. Lamb (the alias Toby used to sneak into Radley). He confided in Spencer that there had been a "problem" with the employee IDs and that the system had to be revamped. Hmmmm... He also revealed that Spencer was in Mona's old room. Which made her discovery of the phrase "Will the circle be unbroken?" on the desk extra meaningful.

Flashback: Spencer and Ali were in church, where Mona was over-enthusiastically singing that very hymn. After the service, Ali revealed that she was keeping diaries (specifically for Spencer) that had all of the information she would need after she was gone. (Morbid much?) Now, unless Mona has supersonic hearing, I doubt she heard the girls' discussion and that the "circle" phrase would hold such significance. This felt like a rather large logical jump (even for "Pretty Little Liars").

Back in the present, the orderly told Spencer that he knew a Toby once, a boy whose mom was a patient at Radley. But before he could elaborate, some official-types came into the hospital, and he scurried off. Cue Mona showing up with cookies, which Spencer wisely refused. But that wasn't the only offering Mona brought: How about samples from Ali's diaries!? Ali was never pregnant, Mona explained adding, "I have the answers to questions you haven't even thought of." But it will take Spencer allying with Mona to get her hands on the journals.

Following the Officer Wilden revelation, Ashley was hesitant to leave Hanna behind to go to a training session in New York (which could lead to a full-time relocation to the Big Apple), but Hanna insisted. And because Ashley seems to take all of her life advice from her teenage daughter, she went. And, surprise! Just seconds after she dropped Hanna off at Emily's, Officer Wilden pulled up. He told Hanna he'd leave her and her mother alone if only she told him where his police car was. What exactly is in that vehicle that he needs so badly?

And in the episode's closing moments, we witnessed a truly heart-breaking moment: Spencer in group therapy, letting go of her final vestiges of sanity, succumbing to hallucinations.

Oh, also, Missy Franklin made a cameo (and not as a hallucination) in Emily's coffee shop.

What did you think of last night's "Pretty Little Liars"? How will Spencer return to normalcy? Is Hanna going to fess up about the cop cruiser? How creepy is the new A-mobile? Tell us everything in the comments and on Twitter!

'Girls' Recap: 'It's Back'

Hollywood Crush

'Girls' Recap: 'It's Back'

When we spoke with "Girls" executive producer Jenni Konner earlier this year, she revealed that the HBO series' second season would revolve around the consequences of Hannah getting everything she's always wanted. Key word there being consequences. And, boy, did those consequences come into full view last night as Hannah's obsessive-compulsive disorder returned.

But did this revelation feel contrived to anyone else? There had been clues—my colleague Josh Wigler reminded me that Hannah mentioned her obsession with the number eight during an earlier episode—but it all seemed a bit abrupt. For someone who bares her soul with such frequency and abandon as Hannah, wouldn't something like her OCD be more of a talking point?

Conveniently, Hannah's parents were in town for the flare-up, and though she tried denying it, Hannah couldn't hide her condition as the trio attended a Judy Collins concert at the Carlyle—where she fled, but not before knocking an audience member in the arm eight times.

Her parents took her to a psychiatrist (played by actor/author Bob Balaban), who quickly got to the heart of the problem: Hannah's book deal was literally making her sick. Can Hannah handle being the voice of her generation? Maybe not. She left with a prescription but little hope.

Meanwhile, Marnie was struggling with the news that Charlie had sold his Forbid app for a tidy profit and a corner office in Chelsea. After all, Marnie had mentally budgeted six years for Charlie to be broken following their split. Yet, there he was thriving. Adding insult to injury, the app (a preventative against calling an ex in a weak moment) was inspired by Marnie—something she learned after tracking Charlie down, waltzing into his workplace like it wasn't creepy at all.

But much of her angst stemmed from the fact that her own life had become such a mess. In a rare heart-to-heart with Ray, the barista philosopher asked what Marnie's real dream was. She revealed that she wanted to be a singer. "What's the second thing you want to do?" he deadpanned. But then she crooned a few bars at Ray's request, and she was actually pretty good!

As Marnie got career counseling from an unlikely source, Shoshanna was getting tongue from a doorman. Yes, you read that correctly. The co-ed went to a college party by herself (33-year-old Ray felt weird about accompanying her), and a few compliments from the building's doorman was all it took to get her into a compromising position in the mailroom. What will this mean for the series' (seemingly) steadiest couple?

Hannah's ex Adam also spent the episode getting to know a member of the opposite sex. After a rousing declaration (much of it about Hannah) in Alcoholics Anonymous, he was approached by an older woman (played by the always amazing Carol Kane), who wanted to set him up on a date with her daughter, Natalia. He gladly took the number. "You'll know me. I'm tall and semi-dashing," he informed his would-be date, before adding that he'd look for her nice teeth. "I'll be staring at you like I'm a creep." Oh, Adam. Never change. The two met up at a restaurant, both seemingly taken with the other. "Oh my god, I love my mom," Natalia (played by Shiri Appleby) enthused upon their introduction. The scenes from next week's episode indicate there will be at least one more date before Hannah swoops in to ruin things.

What did you think of last night's episode? Did Hannah's OCD seem random? Should Marnie really pursue a singing career? Were you surprised Shoshanna so easily cheated on Ray? Tell us in the comments and on Twitter!

Nikki Reed's Fateful Fan Letter Lead To Hanson Music Video Role

Nikki Reed's Fateful Fan Letter Lead To Hanson Music Video Role

Nikki Reed isn't just a budding singer-songwriter—she's also a bona fide music-video starlet. "The Twilight Saga" actress, who co-penned a soundtrack song for "Breaking Dawn - Part 2" with husband Paul McDonald, recently filmed a role in Hanson's music video "Get the Girl Back," also starring "2 Broke Girls" actress Kat Dennings. In fact, Nikki and Kat are best friends, yet surprisingly didn't know about each others' obsession with the boy manband.

"Let me tell you a story about that," Nikki began. "Kat Dennings—who happens to be one of my closest girlfriends—Kat and I are massive Hanson fans, and we did not discover this about one another, even though we are super-close. We didn't know we were Hanson fans until we both signed onto the video. It was a weird, secret obsession that we both had and kept to ourselves.

"I wrote [Hanson] fan mail. That's how my relationship with them started," Nikki continued. "I mean, I love them. I wrote them fanmail in the hopes that they'd write me back, and Kat did the same thing. That's how these relationships blossomed. And they called both of us... and then we both showed up to do this video. It could not be any funnier. Just because I see Kat every week. How did I not know this about her?"

And lest you think Nikki hid her obsession because she was embarrassed, that is most definitely not the case.

"It was just something we hadn't talked about," she said. "That's why it's so random. I don't think we were ashamed of our Hanson love."

As it turns out, Nikki's husband, Paul, is also a fan.

"Paul actually has a little cameo in the video too," she enthused. "Regardless of whether or not you like 'MMBop,' we're talking about three brothers who could not be more—they're such polished musicians. They get to practice all day, every day with each other from the time they were directly out of the womb. When you're around them, you have to be inspired musically. They're so talented."

AOL Music debuted a behind-the-scenes look at "Get the Girl Back" last month. Be sure to check it out below!
