'The Carrie Diaries' Casts A Broadway Boy

'The Carrie Diaries' Casts A Broadway Boy

Kyle HarrisWe've peeped the premiere, we've chatted up the leading lady, and we've ogled the bejeezus out of the awesome 1980s-era fashion in its first crop of publicity stills... yep, it's safe to say that we're pret—ty psyched for "The Carrie Diaries" to make its premiere on The CW in January. And since no "Sex and the City" prequel would be complete without a crop of fresh-faced young gentlemen to break the hearts (or, um, the beds) of its female characters, the show has been busy rounding up some eligible bachelors to round out its cast. The latest? Kyle Harris, who, according to The Hollywood Reporter, will be joining the show for regular appearances as boyfriend to Carrie's BFF Mouse.

Kyle is a Broadway actor making his debut on the small screen, but he's got plenty of practice in making the ladies swoon; among other things, he's just concluded a stint in the national touring cast of "West Side Story." (We'd happily rumble on the streets of New York with him anytime.)

If you want a peek at the cast in action, you can watch them doing their thing in the preview for the show's first episode below.

Is "The Carrie Diaries" looking good to you yet?
