The 'Tiger Eyes' Trailer Is Here At Last

Hollywood Crush

The 'Tiger Eyes' Trailer Is Here At Last

Tiger EyesThe soon-to-be-released "Tiger Eyes" has long been our most anticipated book-to-movie adaptation that doesn't involve teenagers murdering each other in a televised tournament for public enjoyment, but there's been an infuriating dearth of promotional buzz and tease-y stuff leading up to the film's June release—leading Judy Blume fans everywhere to lie awake at night consumed by worry that something had gone horribly wrong, preventing the film from getting all the attention it deserved. But no more! Because there's a trailer! Finally! And best of all, it looks to be a completely wonderful and faithful adaptation of the beloved source material.

The film stars Willa Holland as Davey, a teenage girl whose family moves across the country to New Mexico after her father is killed. It's the beginning of a tremendous journey of self-discovery as Davey tries to cope with her grief, rebuild her life and negotiate the guilt she feels over her father's death—all while having her eyes opened to the struggles of other people against their own personal demons.

The trailer, set to the song "Come Awake" by The Lower 48, has lots of sweeping southwestern vistas intercut with shots of Davey as she runs the emotional gamut from mournful to angry to hopeful to yearning (and even in this brief preview of the movie to come, it's obvious that Willa Holland is an actress with amazing range—the perfect choice to play this challenging role). Plus, we get a peek at New Mexico native Elise Eberle giving a great performance at Davey's friend Jane, and Tatanka Means in his swoon-worthy role as Wolf. All in all, it looks like "Tiger Eyes," the movie will deliver in all the same ways as "Tiger Eyes," the book: offering a meditative, nuanced, moving portrait of a young woman coming of age through grief.

"Tiger Eyes" hits theaters and on demand June 7.

What do you think of our first peek at "Tiger Eyes"?

Bella Thorne Gets A Book Deal!

Hollywood Crush

Bella Thorne Gets A Book Deal!

Bella ThorneThe literati radar is blowing up today with all kinds of exciting book news, and here's the latest bit: Bella Thorne, the 15 year-old superstar—who's already a familiar face on the Hollywood scene as a singer, dancer, actress, and model—is sinking her teeth into a slightly more cerebral piece of the entertainment biz, having officially made a multi-book deal with Random House for publication in 2014! Bella will co-write "Autumn Falls," a series of YA novels about a 14 year-old girl whose life changes after a chance encounter with magic.

Without any other details available, it's not clear yet whether this is going to be witchy-romantic magic à la "Beautiful Creatures," or fantastical epic magic à la "Harry Potter," or something else entirely (although we would like to point out that it's never too early to start hoping for a "Teen Witch"-style magical freestyle rap-off!).

And as with any famous person's work of fiction, there's the added excitement of wondering whether Bella's book might include any characters or plot points that are thinly veiled depictions of the real-life celebrity scene...although Bella, for her part, is being pretty oblique about it, saying only, "This book, although mysterious and magical, is inspired by different aspects of my personal life, which I hold very near and dear to my heart." But hey, it's something—and if anyone wants to start speculating on which of Bella's recent co-stars might have secret magical powers, well, let's just say that we've always thought there was something a little bit witchy about Roshon Fegan. You don't think...?!

Peep The EXCLUSIVE Book Trailer For 'The Academy' By Monica Seles

At the world's most elite academy for athletic teens, the competition on the playing field is fierce...and the competition off it is even fiercer. That's the story behind the much-anticipated new YA novel "The Academy: Game On"—the first book in the new series by Monica Seles (the international tennis superstar who's also an alumna of a hardcore sports training school, so you know she knows what she's talking about!). And today, we've got an EXCLUSIVE first look at the trailer, which promises all the juicy scandal of a great boarding-school drama plus the added twist of a young tennis star's Cinderella story.

The premise: Maya, a gifted young tennis star, gets the chance of a lifetime when her skills score her a scholarship to the world's most competitive school for aspiring athletes. Will Maya be able to steer clear of the drama and focus exclusively on her goal of becoming a pro player? ...Uh, we hope not! That sounds so boring! Bring on the frenemy backstabbing and secret dorm sex!

Nolan Gerard Funk Gets 'Awkward' As This Week’s Hump Day Hottie

Hollywood Crush

Nolan Gerard Funk Gets 'Awkward' As This Week’s Hump Day Hottie

Nolan Gerard Funk is hardly a newbie in Hollywood, but he is the new guy on MTV’s hit show "Awkward." And, we figured what better way to welcome him to the MTV family than by honoring him as this week’s Hump Day Hottie. (We’re saving a dance for you at the holiday party, Nolan!)

Check out this dreamy photo of Nolan, and keep reading for more details about him!

Vital stats: 26-year-old Nolan grew up in Vancouver, where he learned how to speak multiple languages and was also a bit of an athlete. In addition to acting and singing, the Canadaian native is also a skilled gymnast and diver.

Where you might have already seen him: Nolan’s work on the small screen has spanned all genres, as he's appeared on shows and TV movies like “Spectacular,” “Aliens In America,” “Castle,” “Warehouse 13,” “Hellcats” and, rather fittingly, “Glee.” He’s also nabbed some big screen parts, like in the recent Jennifer Lawrence thriller “The House at the End of the Street.”

Why you should take notice of him now: Well, he’s bound to make Jenna’s life a bit complicated on the third season of “Awkward.” Adorable dudes are always falling for her. We’re a little bit jealous.

In addition to his extended stay on the show, he’s also slated to appear alongside Lindsay Lohan in the buzzed about indie “The Canyons,” as well alongside Vin Diesel in the upcoming “Riddick” sequel.

Until next week, when we choose another Hump Day Hottie, you can salute Nolan by gawking at the photo above!

Scott Porter Is A Married Man

Scott PorterOn screen, he'll help Aubrey Plaza cross a few naughty items off of her "To Do List," but off screen, "Hart of Dixie" star Scott Porter is officially off the market.

The actor tied the knot with long-time girlfriend Kelsey Mayfield on Saturday in Austin, Texas, Us Weekly confirms. The couple, who became engaged in January 2012, have been dating for five years after meeting on the set of the dearly departed "Friday Night Lights" (which makes their nuptial locale super fitting).

Scott confirmed the news on his Instagram over the weekend, writing, "Two families became one today."

So it looks like all of our hopes for a "FNL" boyfriend are now resting squarely on the shoulders of Taylor Kitsch. And what shoulders they are.

Peep EXCLUSIVE Cover Reveal For 'The Beginning Of Everything'

The Beginning of EverythingMove over, vampire boyfriends! Check yourself, dystopian dramas! The big exciting thing in YA lit today is a lovely, funny break from the bleak and bloody stuff we've been reading lately: our EXCLUSIVE cover reveal for Robyn Schneider's "The Beginning of Everything." Because sometimes, y'all, you need to put down the end-of-the-world stuff and just enjoy a sunny yellow novel with a rollercoaster motif. Wheee!

This is the author's first turn as a writer for teens, but she's 100 percent plugged in to all the loves of the young literati: Robyn is a pro vlogger and proud radio commentator for Doctor Who Online, and she's super-fun and funny. And in her YA debut, she tackles a story in which a devastating accident sends a young tennis star on a surprising new path—one full of old friends, new love and a peculiarly intimate acquaintance with hospital food.

And just in case you need another reason to add this one to your to-read list: writer Sarah Mlynowski declares on the book's cover that "I have no doubt that girls everywhere are going to fall madly, deeply, hopelessly in love with [protagonist] Ezra Faulkner." (Or in other words: Maybe it's time to expand your list of literary crushes to include somebody other than Augustus Waters. Diversity!)

'Glee' Recap: 'Sweet Dreams'

Hollywood Crush

'Glee' Recap: 'Sweet Dreams'

Gleeby Melissa Albert

All this season, "Glee" has been presenting a seriously warped vision of life after high school: Santana went to college for a while, got bored, then dropped out; Mercedes chucked it in for life in a West Coast recording studio; Puck...is still working on his screenplay; and absolutely every graduate is on constant call to appear back at McKinley, if you just click your heels together and say their name twice.

So it’s refreshing when Finn experiences something that resembles actual college life. He enrolls to get his teaching degree and moves into a freshman dorm, where he appears in Harlem Shake videos, sweet talks girls into taking off their tops and bros up with an ever-resilient Puckerman, who has finally figured out that the girls get easier when you leave high school.

Then Schue shows up. Regionals are fast approaching (aren’t they always?), and he can’t handle the pressure without Finn by his side. But Finn’s not having it. “As you can see, I’m pretty busy with college,” he says smarmily, before ripping off his shirt and jetting down a slip ‘n’ slide.

But he’s never too busy for Rachel, who calls him to ask how college is going. No, wait, she doesn’t actually care. She just wants advice on her “Funny Girl” audition. She’s sworn off men, worshiped at her Streisand shrine and taken advice from her absentee mom, Shelby, who shows up to advise that she not try to out-Barbra Barbra. In other words, don’t audition with a Barbra song.

The two of them duet on “Next to Me," inspiring Rachel to reach deep inside for her perfect tryout song. There, she finds...Journey. In a great “Glee” throwback moment, she tries out with “Don’t Stop Believin’,” while the ghosts of her glee club besties manifest on the stage around her. Will Berry win a callback? (Yes. Yes, she will.)

The McKinley kids are dealing with their post-“shooting” PTSD in different ways, some weirder than others: Sam splits into two personalities, himself and his “twin,” Evan Evans, who for some (smokin’ hot) reason has an Australian accent. Kitty becomes a bitch again, Unique doubles down on birth control pills in an effort to grow breasts, and Marley decides it’s finally time to present her original songs to the world. And Blaine, noticing Becky’s odd behavior in the wake of the incident, starts to suspect that she knows something about Sue’s sudden departure.

The regionals theme is “Dreams,” which is right in Mr. Schue’s cheeseball wheelhouse. After he announces his terrible song picks for the competition (“Sweet Dreams Are Made of This,” etc.), the club goes behind his back to rewrite the set.

Still feeling burned from Finn’s rejection, Schue flips out in response. But after one too many games of Frisbee golf, and late nights spent playing “Fight For Your Right (To Party)” with Puck at frat houses, Finn renounces his hard-partying ways (i.e. decides to start acting like a sweater-vested manchild again, instead of a 19-year-old dude). He goes back to where he’s needed most: McKinley High, Finn just can’t quit you!

He and Schue make up, and decide to lead the glee team to regionals as equals. Their song of choice? A Marley original. (Boo!)

Questions of the episode: Hey, remember when Blaine announced his intention to sabotage the Cheerios from the inside out? Whatever happened to that? And now that Coach Roz is back, replacing the disgraced Sue Sylvester, why doesn’t he just quit the team like he wanted to?

And WHAT THE HECK is going on with Ryder’s mystery girl? We want answers ASAP!

Song of the episode: Beastie Boys all the way. It’s nice to see Finn and Puck back together.

Ashley Tisdale Is Ready To Face The End Of The World With Nicolas Cage

Hollywood Crush

Ashley Tisdale Is Ready To Face The End Of The World With Nicolas Cage

Ashley Tisdale is ready for the world to end. And, if it has to happen, at least she’s in interesting company. The singer/actress will join Nicolas Cage in the dystopian drama “Left Behind.” And while fans are used to her making them chuckle, this project will show her stretching another kind of acting muscle.

"I’m super-excited to be doing a movie called 'Left Behind' with Nicolas Cage. I play his daughter, and it’s a drama, so it’s completely different from this,” she said, comparing it to her current role in the comedy “Scary Movie 5.”

The film, which also stars Chad Michael Murray, is about a group of people left behind after the rapture, and she’s looking forward to showing people that she can get serious when the cameras start rolling—even in the direst of circumstances. She added, "I’ve always loved drama and I love comedy, but I think it’s good to switch it up to show your range."

No release date has been set for her dramatic turn, though Ashley is currently starring in the comedy “Scary Movie 5” and has confirmed to MTV News that she’s working on new music. And, much like with her work in “Left Behind,” the multi-hyphenate is hoping to surprise people.

"I'm still feeling it out," she said of her new music. "I want to surprise people a little bit, something different from what I've done before. I started actually last year recording, but you know, I'm just still trying to find exactly what I want to do."

Bella Thorne Plots A 'Very Different' Music Career

"Shake It Up!" star Bella Thorne has long been ready for her close-up, but now she’s also ready to get her groove on. The Disney actress is hard at work on her debut disc, and she recently dished about her forthcoming album to MTV News.

“Well, I think what fans can expect is [for it] just to be very different from anyone, because I don’t like to be one of those artists where you can be like ‘Oh yeah, I know them from that song,'" the Disney starlet explained, clearly taking notes from other one-time Mouse House princesses like Selena Gomez, Miley Cyrus, Demi Lovato. Or, even Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera for that matter, all of whom have gone on to have successful music careers. “All my songs are very different from each other. So I don’t want to be known as only one genre.”

With very little additional details about the project, the 15-year-old added that she’s been quite busy prepping for her big music career.

“I have my single. I just signed my record deal, so I’m really excited about that,” she said. “Also I’m going on tour and I have a few projects in the works.”

In addition to music and her show, Bella is also attached to the rodeo-themed flick, “Buttermilk Sky.”

'Awkward' Cast Promises Lots Of Making Out, Shirtlessness In Season 3

Jenna Hamilton will discover just how much change blows when the third season of MTV's "Awkward" premieres tonight at 10 p.m.

We caught up with the cast, including Ashley Rickards (Jenna), Jillian Rose Reed (Tamara) and Brett Davern (Jake) at this weekend's MTV Movie Awards, and they were ready, willing and able to spill some scoop on what we can expect from their characters in the upcoming episodes.

"Jenna's going to go to a whole new level of dark, and I am so excited to play it as an actress," Ashley said. "I think the fans will just love it."

But if anyone knows what fans will love, it's Jillian and Brett, who offered the most titillating tidbits to tease eager viewers.

"Tamara and Jake make out a lot," Jillian said

"Yeah they do," Brett chimed in before adding, "Beau Mirchoff is shirtless, like, the entire season. Actually, it's more than it's ever been. He hasn't eaten in, like, three months. He just comes to set and does push-ups."

So just to reiterate: darkness, make-outs and shirtlessness. Sounds like it's going to be a memorable third season, indeed.

Emma Watson, Jonah Hill For 'Fifty Shades Of Grey'?

Rumors of Emma Watson entering Christian's Red Room of Pain as Anastasia Steele in the big-screen adaptation of "Fifty Shades of Grey" have persisted for months (despite the actress' recent Twitter denial). But even we were surprised by Jonah Hill's announcement during Sunday's MTV Movie Awards.

While feting the actress for her Trailblazer honor, the actor dropped this bit of casting news:

"Emma Watson is such a beautiful, lovely, talented, hard-working person. I'm very appreciative to be in her life. That's why I want to take this opportunity to announce officially that we will be starring in the screen adaptation of 'Fifty Shades of Grey.'"

The "This Is the End" star then addressed Emma specifically and the challenges they'd soon face together.

"Emma, it's going to be very difficult going back to being casual after we start to go so deep into these characters and star exploring each other in such a detailed way," he said. "It's going to be rough out there, but I need you to know one thing: My safety word is 'tangerine.' So if I start screaming that at any time, you have to stop doing stuff to me, no matter how much it feels right to you."

Jonah, let's just get one thing clear: None of this feels right to us. OK?

Pucker Up: A Smooching Expert Sizes Up The Best Kiss Nominees

Hollywood Crush

Pucker Up: A Smooching Expert Sizes Up The Best Kiss Nominees

If you're still deliberating as to which qualified candidates for MTV Movie Awards supremacy should get your vote...well, hey, we understand! After all, this is serious business; you can't just have some rando candidate running around with a Golden Popcorn in their hands. But since your window of opportunity to vote is closing fast—like, only-48-hours-to-go fast—we're devoting this last day before Awards weekend to an all-important voter education initiative: wherein we call in an expert to analyze the likely winners in a competitive category.

Under scrutiny today: the Best Kiss contenders! And while we all like to think that we're experts in kissing, the man weighing in on our nominees actually wrote the book on it, so listen up. William Cane, author of "The Art of Kissing," viewed all five clips in contention for the "Best Kiss" title...and while he admits that pretty much all the nominees follow proper kissing protocol, he declared Logan Lerman's passionate kiss with Emma Watson in "The Perks of Being a Wallflower" his favorite for the win.

"His emotion in the scene was palpable, you could feel it," Cane explained. "And Emma Watson did a fantastic job of staying right in the moment with him."

According to our expert, the actors' powerful chemistry is the first thing that makes the scene compelling: "You can see that the kiss begins in an emotional way," he said, giving props to Logan for the way he madly rushes to smooch Emma at the tail end of a heartfelt speech. "He channels his emotion by moving, getting right up to the girl and getting his lips on her, right when he's at the height of his feelings. What a great way to segue from words to deeds."

And as for the technique of the two lovebirds, Cane says it's aces.

"The kiss itself is nicely executed. He places his hands under the angle of her jaw, gently—which is a terrific thing to do when kissing. A lot of people, especially women, complain that guys don't know how to use their hands during a kiss," he explained. "But in this case, Logan Lerman used the hands in an appropriate, caressing, romantic movement."

Psssst! You hear that, boys? Make with the appropriate, caressing movements, and we'll all get along famously—and possibly even win awards for our smooching skills. Just saying.

Meanwhile, Cane assures us that whomever you deem the most worthy of your vote, you really can't go wrong with any of our nominees...although in general, the expectoratory flourish that Jared Gilman puts on his smooch in "Moonrise Kingdom" should probably be avoided.

"I laughed," said our expert. "I did laugh. But that's not romantic."

Will Jennifer Lawrence get her silver lining in the form of a Golden Popcorn? Which beefcake will sizzle in our brand-new Best Shirtless Performance category? It's up to you to decide the winners of the 2013 MTV Movie Awards! Vote now, and tune in Sunday, April 14 at 9 p.m. ET, as star Rebel Wilson takes the stage at the Sony Pictures Studios lot in Culver City, California.

Whose smooch would you give your vote to?

Ashley Tisdale Plays Scary Movie Edition Of 'F--k, Marry, Kill'

Hollywood Crush

Ashley Tisdale Plays Scary Movie Edition Of 'F--k, Marry, Kill'

The time has come again for a special MTV Movie Awards After Hours. This time the lucky victim visitor is "Scary Movie 5" leading lady Ashley Tisdale, who was subjected to the classic game "F--k, Marry, Kill."

Since Ashley is starring in "Scary Movie 5," it only makes sense that she participate in the scary movie version of the game. That means she needed to choose between horror film villains like Freddy Krueger, Jason Voorhees and an unnamed zombie, and sexy vampires like Edward Cullen, Dracula and Count Chocula. You might be surprised by who she chose.

"I'd f--k Freddy Krueger because he has a mask on," Ashley said, barely able to speak through her laughter. When it was mentioned that Freddy actually doesn't have a mask, she amended, "Oh, Jason, then that's who I [want]. And marry the other one." If you couldn't deduce from her answers, Ashley would kill the zombie.

As for the vampires, Ashley answered pretty immediately that she would have sex with Count Chocula—and why wouldn't she? He's so sweet! But don't be worried, Robert Pattinson fans, because Ashley plans to marry Edward Cullen and then kill Dracula. Sorry, Gary Oldman.

Kaya Scodelario Snags Lone Lady Role In 'Maze Runner'

Kaya Scodelario Snags Lone Lady Role In 'Maze Runner'

Kaya ScodelarioEver since casting began on the film adaptation for dystopian sci-fi thriller "The Maze Runner," all the cute British actors of a certain age seem to be getting snatched up to star as members of the slapdash tribe of survivalist lads who are known in the story as "Gladers." Which means that for the next several months, lucky lady Kaya Scodelario is going to be where the boys are—literally.

Although there's been no official casting announcement, director Wes Ball spilled the beans that the English "Skins" star is on board to play Teresa, the lone girl who changes everything when she appears in the story's titular maze. The news first broke via Wes' Twitter account, where he enthused about Kaya's awesome on-screen chemistry with Aml Ameen; Kaya then confirmed the news herself, with a big thank you to fans for supporting her bid to be in the movie.

Based on the book by James Dashner, "Maze Runner" tells the story of a teenage boy, Thomas, who awakens to find himself trapped in an enormous concrete maze with no memory of how he got there. Along with the several dozen teenage boys who've been deposited there before him, Thomas must learn to navigate the deadly labyrinth and lead them all to safety...before it's too late. (Aaaagh!) Will Poulter, Thomas Brodie-Sangster and Aml Ameen also star. And with a release date set for early 2014, hopefully we'll be seeing the rest of the cast (and maybe even a sneak peek at some of the super-cool science-fiction set pieces) in place soon.

Are you excited to see Kaya on board for "The Maze Runner"?

Best Shirtless Performance: A Channing Tatum GIF Retrospective

Best Shirtless Performance: A Channing Tatum GIF Retrospective

Channing TatumWith the 2013 MTV Movie Awards less than a week away, we need to have a serious discussion. Perhaps you know where we're going with this? Three words: Best Shirtless Performance. It's one of two brand-new categories debuting at this year's ceremony (thanks for finally addressing our letters, emails, tweets and Edible Arrangements, producers) and, well, it's a pretty big deal for us.

There are five men of (mostly) high caliber up for the Golden Popcorn: Channing Tatum ("Magic Mike"), Christian Bale ("The Dark Knight Rises"), Daniel Craig ("Skyfall"), Seth MacFarlane ("Ted") and Taylor Lautner ("The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2"). And while only the performances listed here should be considered while voting, we figured it couldn't hurt to take a trip down mammary memory lane to revisit the many arresting shirtless performances proffered by each through the years.

So without further ado, let's begin with...

Channing Tatum: A Shirtless GIF Retrospective

Channing Tatum is one of our most versatile shirtless actors. He can do anything bare chested. Allow him to demonstrate:

Channing can towel off his hallmates while shirtless.

Channing can look dubious while shirtless.

Channing can make waves while shirtless.

Channing can pick up the ladies while shirtless.

Channing can be the cat's pajamas while shirtless.

Channing can handle heavy machinery while shirtless.

Channing can hit the sheets while shirtless.

And, of course, Channing can dance...

...and dance...

and DANCE... while shirtless.

Is Channing Tatum's turn in "Magic Mike" getting your vote for Best Shirtless Performance? Tell us in the comments and on Twitter!

Kevin Zegers Is Engaged To His Longtime Ladyfriend

Kevin Zegers Is Engaged To His Longtime Ladyfriend

Kevin ZegersHere's the most heartwarming thing you'll read all day: Kevin Zegers, who just got engaged to longtime girlfriend Jaime Feld, explaining to ET Canada (via People) just how he orchestrated his big plans to put a ring on it:

"I designed [the ring] and did a specific movie to pay for [it]," he said.

How adorable (and financially responsible!) is that?! We think we can guess which movie, too—seeing as he's one of the star Shadowhunters in the upcoming movie adaptation of "The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones."

The pair are planning to wed this summer, which means that the August premiere of "Mortal Instruments" could be their very first public outing as husband and wife! The only question now, obviously, is whether his experience making the film inspired him when it came time to design his bride-to-be's bling; if it were us, we'd totally build some seraph blades into that sparkly little sucker.

Hercules! Hercules! Kellan Lutz Muscles Into Role

Hercules! Hercules! Kellan Lutz Muscles Into Role

Kellan LutzNot all typecasting is bad. If you're "Twilight" actor Kellan Lutz, it means you get to play a succession of iconic characters—who just so happen to be Men's Health magazine-worthy.

After strapping on a sword and sandals as Poseidon in "Immortals" and swinging from vines as Tarzan in the upcoming motion-capture movie of the same name, Kellan will get mythical once again for the title role in "Hercules 3D," according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Little is known about the plot of the film, though the report did indicate that it "will have at its center a love story between the son of Zeus and the mortal princess of Crete, who was promised to his older brother despite her love for Hercules."

But who really cares about the storyline when there's the distinct possibility we'll be spending two hours staring at Kellan Lutz in little more than a pleated skirt and breast plate?

Style Superstar: Rosario Dawson Blooms At 'Trance' Premiere

Style Superstar: Rosario Dawson Blooms At 'Trance' Premiere

Rosario Dawson is, alas, one of the stylish celebs whom we don't see nearly enough on the red carpet. But when she does emerge? She kills it. Exhibit A: her latest look, from the New York premiere of her new movie, "Trance," which is an exercise in Style Superstar-worthy perfection.

Rosario's statuesque silhouette was beautifully flattered by this sophisticated Bottega Veneta dress, with blouson sleeves, a leather belt and an asymmetrical zip accent that keeps the pretty pink look from veering into twee territory. The dusty rose shade is great on her, too—as are the mauve patent pumps that finish off the look, an unexpected touch that's also a great example of Rosario's uncanny style intuition. Most people would've gone with a boring neutral shoe, but not our Superstar!

Meanwhile, another rare celeb sighting: Emilia Clarke made an appearance on "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" this week to promote both her Broadway turn in "Breakfast at Tiffany's" and the return of "Game of Thrones" to HBO... and also, unfortunately, to provide a great example of how the wrong lipstick can ruin even the prettiest outfit. The warm beige color of this dress isn't ideal for Emilia to begin with (it's a shade too matchy with her hair and skin; we'd prefer it with Daenerys Targaryen's white-blonde dye job), but the tomato-colored lips are extra not-good with such a neutral look. Honestly, the Mother of Dragons should know better.

What do you think of this week's fashion picks?

'Girls' Breaks Up With Christopher Abbott

Hollywood Crush

'Girls' Breaks Up With Christopher Abbott

Christopher AbbottWhile Marnie was never very good at making a clean break from Charlie on "Girls," it seems that series creator Lena Dunham and Christopher Abbott, who plays Charlie, are having an easier time parting ways. The New York Post reports that the actor has left the series.

"[Chris] is grateful for the experience of collaborating with Lena, Judd [Apatow], and the entire 'Girls' cast and crew, but right now he’s working on numerous other projects and has decided not to return to the show," his rep told Page Six.

Sources added that Lena and Christopher weren’t getting along on set.

The news comes at a surprising time in Charlie's arc, as he and Marnie finally seemed poised to make it work after two seasons of relationship strife. No word on how his exit will be handled on the upcoming season.

And that’s not the only shake-up for season three. Three of the series' writers will not return. Lena has decided to move the writers' room to NYC (where the show takes place), and Lesley Arfin, Deborah Schoeneman and Steve Rubinshteyn are L.A.-based and won’t be moving.

What do you think about Christopher's departure from the series? Are you sad to see him go? Tell us in the comments and on Twitter!

'Nashville' Star Hayden Panettiere Recalls Growing Up In 'Messy Generation'

'Nashville' Star Hayden Panettiere Recalls Growing Up In 'Messy Generation'

Hayden PanettiereIf you're not feeling beachy now, one peek at Hayden Panettiere's cover shoot for the May issue of Glamour will get you right in the mood. (How in the mood, you ask? Let's just say that we may or may not be writing this post while wearing a bikini and drinking a Mai Tai.) And inside the magazine, Hayden opened up to her interviewer about love, life, leaving New York for Nashville and being a member of the "Messy Generation" of teenage stars.

One remarkable thing about Hayden: Despite coming up alongside a professional cohort of party-going, club-hopping, car-crashing tabloid train wrecks, she managed to make it through her teen years without ever becoming one of them—for which she gives credit to a strong network of protectors who were there to set her straight.

"It’s not that I didn’t go to clubs, have my picture taken," she said. "I was 16 years old. I was experimenting just like any kid. But I had friends and family around me to yank me back when I was heading in the wrong direction. Every turn that I made, somebody was waiting for me to fall on my face and catch it on film. The thing that really saved me was that I still had that healthy fear of my parents—I still had a midnight curfew at 18!"

And perhaps as a result of her balanced upbringing, Hayden says that the grownup accoutrements of marriage and family (she's super-serious with her Ukrainian boxer boyfriend, Wladimir Klitschko) might be her next step.

"I don’t really have a plan," she admitted, but she's certainly not shying away from those major milestones, either. "I’ve lived a very big life, and I don’t feel my age, and I feel like I was born to be a mother. Sometimes people speak about [having kids] like, ‘Your life ends—you’re never going to be able to do anything again!’ And I’m like, ‘What are you talking about?’ Motherhood is the most beautiful, exciting thing, and there’s nothing that I feel like I can’t accomplish while having children in my life. I would sacrifice having more years of being wherever I want whenever I want for years with my kids."

But in the meantime, the 23-year-old is focusing on her role as country starlet Juliette Barnes on ABC's "Nashville."

"I don’t look at it as a second chance; I look at it as where I’m supposed to be," she said of the role. "Even if I’m not perfect at it, even if my voice takes work, this is where my heart is. People used to ask me, ‘What kind of music do you like?’ I’d say, ‘Country.’ Then they’d go, ‘But you’re from New York.’ I thought people would think I was trying to be something I’m not. But the industry of country music is unbelievably accepting. The fans are unreal. There’s no judgment; it’s just, Let’s all get together in a massive backyard and have a barbecue and drink and have fun.”

Have you seen Hayden in her new role on "Nashville"?

Sink Your Teeth Into The Season 6 'True Blood' Teaser

The very first teaser for the long-awaited season six of "True Blood" aired this weekend, and oh my gawd you guys, there is some serious bloody, banging, beefcakey Bon Temps goodness coming down the tubes in June. Thirty seconds of rapid-cut madness, and we see something new every time we watch it! What amazing new things are in store, according to this half-minute clip? DEEP BREATH:

The Authority offices are going to blow! Pam will have laser sight-lights all over her bosoms! Sookie will fall face-first into a repulsive mess of bloody vampire goo! Tara will be peeved about something! (...Well, okay, that's nothing new. Moving on.) Eric will look shell-shocked and atypically rumpled! Alcide will rend his shirt and make a doofy growling noise! Rutger Hauer will laugh like a maniac; Jason Stackhouse will make his patented Confused Face! And ooooooh, is that Warlow? All we could see was some wiry facial hair and one nasty tooth, but it seems likely that we've just caught our first corporeal glimpse of this season's new villain.

Oh, and speaking of villains: Evil Bill is definitely a Thing, which means we'll be able to enjoy many, many shots of Stephen Moyer running around in the nude and coated head-to-toe with the blood of Lilith. Hooray!

"True Blood" returns to HBO June 16.

Which moment from the new teaser spiked your excitement?
