Emma Watson, Jonah Hill For 'Fifty Shades Of Grey'?
Rumors of Emma Watson entering Christian's Red Room of Pain as Anastasia Steele in the big-screen adaptation of "Fifty Shades of Grey" have persisted for months (despite the actress' recent Twitter denial). But even we were surprised by Jonah Hill's announcement during Sunday's MTV Movie Awards.
While feting the actress for her Trailblazer honor, the actor dropped this bit of casting news:
"Emma Watson is such a beautiful, lovely, talented, hard-working person. I'm very appreciative to be in her life. That's why I want to take this opportunity to announce officially that we will be starring in the screen adaptation of 'Fifty Shades of Grey.'"
The "This Is the End" star then addressed Emma specifically and the challenges they'd soon face together.
"Emma, it's going to be very difficult going back to being casual after we start to go so deep into these characters and star exploring each other in such a detailed way," he said. "It's going to be rough out there, but I need you to know one thing: My safety word is 'tangerine.' So if I start screaming that at any time, you have to stop doing stuff to me, no matter how much it feels right to you."
Jonah, let's just get one thing clear: None of this feels right to us. OK?
