Kat Graham's 'Vampire Diaries' Fate? 'It's Up To Them!'

At the end of the season four of "The Vampire Diaries," the game completely changed. And, we mean, like, everything about everything we knew about our favorite characters became way different. (SPOILERS AHEAD IF YOU HAVEN'T WATCHED THE EPISODE!)

During the season finale, the kids graduated. Stefan became bad boy demon, Silas. Katherine (whom Nina Dobrev promises will be as naughty as ever) crossed over to the human side. And Bonnie died, giving her love and Elena’s only relative, Jeremy, another chance at life.

So it would seem given Bonnie’s fate, fans may not see much of her come season five. But, Kat Graham is holding out hope that this isn't the last we've seen of the witch. She told MTV News at the BET Awards last Sunday, “Basically we're getting ready for the fifth season, so I don’t really know. I ended the last season dead, so it’s kind of up to them where it’s going to go. I don’t really know.”

Still, she’s ready to shoot once she learns her fate. She added, "I’m just gearing up to start shooting it in a week or so."

Regardless of what happens to Bonnie, Kat is busy with her music career. She opened up to us about it, sharing that her new single, “Power," will be a part of a new EP.

"This new single that just premiered this past week on Billboard is called ‘Power,’ and it comes out on iTunes on the 23rd of July," she said. "I’m excited. I’m excited to shoot the art for it and just be a part of the whole process of creating something new and a new image. It’s cool. It’s exciting.”

Speaking of Kat’s music, we recently spoke to “Power” producer/songwriter Jason Evigan who dished on what it’s like to hit the studio with the funky actress/singer.

“Like easy going, super-cool, super-laid back. She’s very genuine, very sweet, very excited. Very passionate about her artistry,” he said of working with her during the recording sessions. “We recorded one whole session and realized it was in the wrong key. She was so down to come in and do the whole song again. She was a champion.”
