Channing Tatum 'Wouldn't Mind Being The Male Jennifer Lawrence'

Channing Tatum 'Wouldn't Mind Being The Male Jennifer Lawrence'

ChanningChanning Tatum, Mr. Magic Mike himself, has a confession to make. He likes to eat a lot, and sometimes lets his famous, dollar-bill-worthy abs get flabby in between roles. So, he has an idea for his next project that would allow him to indulge in all the food he could ever want.

"I'm a fat kid on the inside. I love food so much, and I fluctuate about 25 [to] 30 pounds between movies. I feel like I have to do a chess movie that requires very little movement at some point, just so I can eat pizza and play chess on the beach all day. And then eat more pizza and cheeseburgers and drink beer. That'd be amazing," he tells Cosmopolitan.

"I'd give anything for that. I gotta figure that movie out."

Well, until we see Channing in the Bobby Fischer biopic, he has other plans for himself and ironically they have a lot to do with the female lead of a little movie franchise called "The Hunger Games." He shared, "I wouldn't mind being the male Jennifer Lawrence. I think she's incredibly cool."

So, when the "White House Down" star isn't geeking out over J-Law and having personal pizza parties, he is keeping it real with his wife, Jenna Dewan-Tatum, who is currently expecting the couple's first child.

"You have to want it," he explained about how they keep their relationship fresh after all these years.

"Jenna's and my thing is checking in with each other all the time, like 'On a scale from 1 to 10, how much do you love me right now?' And you gotta be honest, and you've got to want an honest answer."

Honestly, Channing, it's always a "10" for us.

Third Bridget Jones Book Is Officially Titled

Third Bridget Jones Book Is Officially Titled

Bridget JonesThe anticipation for the third book about the life and times of eternal British hot mess Bridget Jones has already been running high for months—which may or may not also be the length of time we've been wearing the enormous granny pants we donned in honor of the announcement of the book's November release date. And as of today, we've finally got a title to go with the excitement: The next tome in the series will be called... wait for it... "Bridget Jones: Mad About The Boy". (This per an exclusive from the "Today" show this morning.)

Information about the new book has been hard to come by, despite the rabid clamoring of fans who are desperate to know what's up with Bridget these days; all we've gotten so far is the vaguely threatening information from Ms. Fielding that "my life has moved on, and so has Bridget's." (And what does that even mean?!) Also, Bridget's Twitter account hasn't been updated in months. But maybe this title gives us a wee hint? For instance: The boy about whom Bridget is mad could be Mark Darcy, Daniel Cleaver or even some other romantic interest as yet undiscovered...BUT, it could be an actual boy, in that Bridget might have become a mum during her time away from the prying eyes of the literati. Hmm. Thoughts?

Style Superstar: Audrey Tautou Has A Win In The Can At Cannes

Style Superstar: Audrey Tautou Has A Win In The Can At Cannes

Yes, this is the second week in a row that we're bringing you a Style Superstar direct from France...and no, we're not sorry. (We also can't help it, really: the Cannes Film Festival is still going on, and everyone is there.) And today, our featured fashionista is the Mistress of Ceremonies herself: Cannes festival hostess Audrey Tautou, who flounced her way to the top of our best-dressed list with this silver party dress.

Ruffles, tiers, texture and shine: There's a lot going on for this little dress, which Audrey wisely paired with nude shoes, simple makeup and only a teensy box clutch in terms of accessories. We love the way her short, unfussy pixie cut shows off the teensy spaghetti-strap neckline and contrasts with all that metallic glitz, making this look the perfect mix of glam and gamine. Style Superstar? Mais oui, cheri.

Alas, not all the dresses were as dazzling as Audrey's, and some were downright dastardly—like this incredibly odd sheer-skirted number on Joan Smalls, which looks like a plastic floral-trimmed raincoat was haphazardly attached to an otherwise perfectly lovely mini-dress. There are plenty of attractive, tasteful ways for a leggy gal to show off her stems in a floor-length gown. This is not one of them.

What do you think of this week's best and worst dressed?

Want To Get Paid To Write 'Vampire Diaries' Fanfic?

Want To Get Paid To Write 'Vampire Diaries' Fanfic?

Vampire DiariesNo, we haven't been hacked by a spambot promising $400 an hour, all by working from home. This is a real thing that's happening!

Amazon Publishing announced today its latest venture, Kindle Worlds, a publishing platform through which fan-fiction writers can distribute their work and earn royalties.

There are a few caveats, of course. All works have to take place in the "Worlds" licensed by Amazon, which for now includes Alloy Entertainment properties "Gossip Girl" (by Cecily von Ziegesar), "Pretty Little Liars" (by Sara Shepard) and "Vampire Diaries" (by L.J. Smith). Royalties are doled out to both the rights holder and the author; 35 percent of net revenue is paid to the author for works of at least 10,000 words. (There's a lot to unpack here, so be sure to check out the Kindle Worlds author page for all of the pertinent information.)

So, with all that in mind, are you ready to make literally millions (of cents) writing about Blair, Aria and/or Elena? If so, we've got a few prompts to get your creative juices flowing into a frothy fruit punch of the highest literary value. Or something.

"Gossip Girl"

Prompt #1: Blair reunites with her long-lost cousin, Clair, and a princess-and-the-pauper scenario ensues.

Prompt #2: Gossip Girl is actually Joaquin Phoenix.

Prompt #3: Under Rufus' tutelage, Dan, Nate and Chuck form a boy band called Richie Riche$ 4U. They get big in China.

"Pretty Little Liars"

Prompt #1: Forget A. The little liars begin receiving texts from Amanda Bynes.

Prompt #2: Ezra and Aria are the last humans on Earth after a dual apocalypse/rapture. They must repopulate the planet.

Prompt #3: All the cell towers in the Tri-State area mysteriously blow up. A resorts to telegrams.

"The Vampire Diaries"

Prompt #1: Katherine and Elena land the lead roles in the long-awaited "Parent Trap" reboot, "Parent Trap: Blood Sisters," with Lindsay Lohan directing.

Prompt #2: Damon and Stefan time-travel to ancient Greece where they're mistaken for gods thanks to their strong jawlines and chiseled abdominal regions.

Prompt #3: Bonnie does...something. Anything, really.

'Mortal Instruments' Release Date Bumped Up

Mortal InstrumentsShadowhunters: Let's raise our seraph blades in unison and slash through the "August 23" box on our calendars—that release date is, woefully, obsolete.

Sony has confirmed to MTV News that the big-screen debut of "The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones" has been moved up two days to August 21, meaning you can get your Clary, Jace and Magnus fix a whole 48 hours earlier (and exactly three months from today)!

For the uninitiated, "The Mortal Instruments" centers around Brooklyn teen Clary Fray, who discovers after her mom's kidnapping that she is a descendant of an ancient race of demon-destroying half-angels called Shadowhunters. She partners with one such warrior—the impossibly good-looking and incredibly snarky Jace Wayland—to rescue her mother, all the while learning the rules that have governed this secret society for centuries.

The film stars Lily Collins, Jamie Campbell Bower and Jonathan Rhys Meyers.

More Matriculation At The 'Vampire Academy'

Sarah HylandToday in bloody good news: The roster for St. Vladimir's is filling out oh so nicely, with a bevy of new casting announcements for "Vampire Academy: Blood Sisters"!

Deadline reports that the film adaptation of Richelle Mead's six-book series has added four new actors to its ensemble: Sarah Hyland, Gabriel Byrne, Joely Richardson and Dominic Sherwood.

Sarah, who's best known for her work on "Modern Family," is playing a supporting role as Natalie, friend to main characters Lissa and Rose. Also matriculating at St. Vlad's: Dominic, a relative newcomer to Hollywood who plays Lissa's romantic interest, the Moroi vampire Christian. Meanwhile, Gabriel will be filling the film's "sexy professor" void as Natalie's father and Academy leader Victor, and Joely—who we recently saw as an elusive Swede in "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo"—has been cast as Tatiana, queen of the Moroi vampires.

This is just the latest group to take a seat on one of this year's busiest casting couches; with a school full of vampires to fill out, producers have been tapping talent left and right to play various "Vampire Academy" roles. And with a 2014 release date, we don't have too long to wait until school's in session.

If you want to replicate the crazybananapants looks of the Capitol's classiest citizens, you need look no further than your corner drugstore. Lionsgate and CoverGirl announced today that "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" and the venerable makeup brand are entering into the most beautiful of alliances.

Check it: Not only were CoverGirl cosmetics used on set to create eye-popping Panem peepers and pouts, but the brand is launching a line called—fittingly—the Capitol Collection, sometime this fall.

Of course, this isn't the first makeup partnership for Katniss and co. In late 2011, China Glaze buddied up with the film franchise to debut their line of "Hunger Games"-inspired nail polishes, Capitol Colours, fronted by District 12 mentor Effie Trinket (played by Elizabeth Banks).

Emma Watson Talks Tramp Stamps And 'Bling Ring' With W Magazine

Emma WatsonWith "The Bling Ring" opening next month and "Noah" not hitting theaters until March 2014, it may be awhile until we see Emma Watson in full-on celebrity covergirl mode again—but if she is planning a hiatus from the public eye, this isn't a bad note to go out on! Emma is front and center next month in the very sophisticated W magazine, where she's styled to the max like a noir femme fatale and talking with typical seriousness about her career.

By now, Emma has a well-earned reputation for being thoughtful, down-to-earth and very careful about how much she reveals of her private life. Which, according to her, has pretty much always been the case.

"I was always a very serious child," she said. "I remember being 13 and girls in my class saying, 'So-and-so is going to kiss so-and-so on the school fields.' I said, 'That’s stupid. They’re too young for it to matter—he doesn’t love her, and that’s just a waste of time.' It’s amazing that I had any friends!"

(And not at all amazing that she won the career-making role of the persnickety Hermione Granger. I mean, you guys, it's levi-OH-sa! Not levio-SAH!)

In keeping with her serious approach, Emma has lately been testing her limits as an actor—opting for films like "The Bling Ring" and "The Perks of Being a Wallflower" instead of the buttoned-up British period dramas that some might have expected. Consider her description of her "Bling Ring" character's most important characteristic:

"The iconic detail of Nicki is her tramp stamp. It’s a lotus flower, a Buddhist-like symbol just above her butt crack. Really classy!"

Classy, indeed! But part of the lure of roles like this, she says, is that she has a profound appreciation for the good old U.S.A.

"I’ve always loved America. When we came here with Harry Potter, everyone was so warm," she explained. "Eventually, all of my friends were American, and I think that’s why I was attracted to playing Americans, even extreme ones like Nicki. When I’m presented with a character, I think, Hmmm...I have not had this experience. I don’t really know what this would be like. I’ll have the experience through the character."

Aww. We like you too, Emma!

Get Ready To Matriculate At 'The School For Good And Evil'

The School for Good and EvilIf you luuuurve a good boarding school for the supernaturally inclined—be it Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry or St. Vladimir's Academy for aspiring vampires—here's something new for your radar: another bizarre institution of higher learning that's on its way from bookshelves to the big screen. "The School for Good and Evil," Soman Chainani's modern-day take on the oeuvre of classic fairytales, has been acquired for development by Roth Films and Jane Startz Productions.

"The School for Good and Evil" centers on two friends, Sophie and Agatha, who are spirited away to train in a very particular school (you can probably guess what it's called, yes?), in which students are divided into two distinct groups and trained toward becoming fairytale archetypes. Only things don't work out as expected when Sophie, whose good looks and good deeds ought to make her a shoo-in for the School of Good, is assigned an academic track for villainy—and her pal, who always seemed like a natural wicked witchy person, ends up as a princess-in-training. Crazy! And then, y'know, hijinks ensue.

With nothing but an option on the table right now, there's no guarantee that we'll see this one on the big screen anytime soon—or ever, for that matter. But if it happens, then the professional fantasists at Roth Films (the studio responsible for "Oz the Great and Powerful") are definitely the right people to make it happen! And in the meantime, the first book in the series is on shelves as of this month.

Have you read "The School of Good and Evil"?

Carrie DiariesIf you've been craving a bit more "Sex" in your "Carrie Diaries," we have some good news indeed: Carrie Bradshaw is set to meet her lustiest of ladyfriends, Miss Samantha Jones, during the second season of the CW series! The network made the announcement today as part of their Upfront Presentation in New York City.

The upcoming season kicks off during the summer of 1985 and finds Carrie living in the downtown loft of her Interview magazine boss, Larissa, following some serious heartbreak back at home. (Thanks a lot, Sebastian!) We assume it's during these warm weather months in Manhattan that Carrie happens upon her soon-to-be BFF, who—as you'll recall from the HBO series—is a few years older than the rest of the ladies, which means she could be a college student interning in the city, or even a recent graduate getting her footing in the high-pressure world of PR.

Lucy Hale Dishes About Her (Figurative, Not Actual) Baby

Lucy HaleLucy Hale is famous on television for being a pretty little liar, but she's definitely making with the honesty in her role as a Seventeen magazine it girl. Lucy sports a stripey dress on the cover of the June/July issue, where she opened up to her interviewer about overcoming an eating disorder, getting through a bad breakup and changing things up career-wise with a new country musical endeavor.

According to Lucy, she couldn't have done anything without first getting back a healthy relationship with her body. Like many actresses, she found that the pressure to be thin was overwhelming and admitted that up until recently she was starving herself to stay slim. Now, though, she's healthy and happy—and relieved to have her energy back.

"I’m so unbelievably lucky that I’m not like that anymore," she told Seventeen, "because it is a horrible way of life and it’s miserable. It consumes everything you think about and you can’t pursue things you want to do."

And Lucy wants to do a lot of things—including releasing a brand-new album that has some people wondering if she might be the next big thing in country pop. All she'd say about it, though, is that she's taking it incredibly seriously.

"My album is something I’m really, really, really proud of," she said. "I've intentionally been quiet about it because I want the music to speak for itself. People are either going to love it or hate it. But I think that once they hear it, they’ll be like, 'Okay, she loves this and is serious about it.' This is my pride and joy—it’s my baby! I worked my butt off on it."

Lucy HaleBut while she's thrown herself 100 percent into her music, Lucy said that the one thing she doesn't have any energy for is romance—at least not after a rough breakup with ex-boyfriend Chris Zylka.

"I was just telling [my best friend] the other day that I don’t know what it’s going to take for me to want to date someone again. It just seems so exhausting. When I like someone, I fall really hard and I invest everything. When it’s gone, I’m like ‘I’m never doing that again!’”

Which makes sense! But it's also what everyone says right before they get photographed strolling arm-in-arm with some hottie they are obviously dating, so, y'know, grain of salt.

Style Superstar: Dakota Fanning Wings It At The Met Ball

Hollywood Crush

Style Superstar: Dakota Fanning Wings It At The Met Ball

We've already posted once about the superlative looks from Monday night's big gala at the Met—where all the pretty little starlets busted out their weirdest wigs, fiercest makeup and most mesh-and-leather-heavy looks to celebrate the opening of "PUNK: From Chaos to Couture" at the Costume Institute. But we saved the best (and, um, worst) for last, plucking two noteworthy looks from the crowd and keeping them aside for our weekly fashion feature. Who's our Style Superstar today?

It's Dakota Fanning, whose black, bold Rodarte dress was our favorite look from the evening. Dakota went a little less wild than a lot of her fellow attendees—from the front, in fact, you might think that this was just a simple black gown with trendy cutout details. But that peek of black-and-white coming around at her waist is your tip that there's more going on here; the other side of this dress is made entirely of mesh from the bum up, with cool graphic applique wings at the shoulders and wrapping around her lower back. It's a perfect pick for the evening—high fashion at the front, a punk party at the rear!—and while not everyone loved Dakota in this dress, we think it makes her this week's Style Superstar. (Another critic complained that it "looks like a skeleton is grabbing the actress at her waist"—uh, YEAH IT DOES, and it's AWESOME.)

Meanwhile, also at the Met Costume Institute Gala, Madonna showed up in an outfit that defies description (at least if you're trying to describe it without being mean, which we are). Admittedly, the plaid-studded prep-school dominatrix look fits with the evening's theme, but the whole thing flies off the rails when instead of thigh-high steel-toed boots—which at least would have made sense—her ensemble ends in a pair of suede platforms in a shocking shade of bubblegum pink. Then again, Madge is a superstar and grande dame of pop culture, who has more or less earned the right to wear whatever she wants, so...y'know, whatever. And her hair looks great!

What do you think of our featured looks this week?

Before you flee your cubicle and fall into the comforting embrace of a Happy Hour cocktail, we'd like to turn your attention to something just as intoxicating: a slew of brand new images from the upcoming sixth season of "True Blood."

HBO released nearly two dozen stills from its titillating vampire drama, and if we had to take a guess, this season could be the bloodiest one yet—what with Billith on the loose and a war brewing between the fangs and the fang-nots. But, you'll have to wait until the June 19 premiere to know just how much of the viscous red stuff will be shed. In the meantime, feast your eyes on a collection of images curated for maximum enjoyment by your best gal pals at Hollywood Crush.

Here's Viking vampire Eric Northman all bloody.

And Sookie Stackhouse all bloody.

Well, at least Bill's all cleaned up, but he's brooding as usual.

Those Bon Temps hotties are so melancholy.

Oh, wait! We spoke too soon. Thanks, new guy Ben!

Another newbie: Nicole.

And, finally, here's Colonel Sanders to open a KFC franchise in Bon Temps.

'The Fault In Our Stars' Casting: Ansel Elgort Offered Augustus Role

Hollywood Crush

'The Fault In Our Stars' Casting: Ansel Elgort Offered Augustus Role

Ansel ElgortProducers of the highly anticipated film version of John Green's "The Fault in Our Stars" are keeping the casting of their leading man all in the family...so to speak. Ansel Elgort—who plays Shailene Woodley's brother in her other YA-adapted project, "Divergent"—has been offered the role of her love interest, Augustus Waters, in the drama about two cancer patients who fall in love in support group. (This all according to Entertainment Weekly).

Now, before you raise an eyebrow, the people in charge say it's all good.

"We were all swept away by the humor, charm, and aching vulnerability Ansel brought to his portrayal of Gus," producer Wyck Godfrey told EW. "His performance completely annihilated our concerns about his playing Caleb in 'Divergent' with Shailene, and we are confident that the fans of 'Fault' will fall in love with him the same way that Hazel does–slowly, and then all at once."

In addition to "Divergent," Ansel has really only one other film credit to his name: The upcoming remake of "Carrie," which stars Chloe Moretz and opens October 18.

It was reported last week that Ansel was one of five guys—including Brenton Thwaites, Nat Wolff, Nick Robinson and Noah Silver—reading for the role of Hazel's BF. Perhaps his current working relationship with Shailene on "Divergent" gave him a leg up against the competition?

Whatever the case, Ansel has the enthusiastic support of John Green, and that's really all that matters to us. The author told the site: "Ansel is whip-smart and uber-charismatic and everything I dreamed for Augustus Waters." And now, we too, have a face to go with the fantasy...

"The Fault in Our Stars" will likely begin production sometime this summer.

Do you think Ansel will make a good Augustus? Does it weird you out that he's already playing Shailene's brother in "Divergent"? Tell us in the comments and on Twitter!

'Vampire Diaries' Recap: 'The Walking Dead'

Hollywood Crush

'Vampire Diaries' Recap: 'The Walking Dead'

Vampire Diariesby Cassie Title

There were many things I thought about mere minutes before "The Walking Dead" began. Like, isn't the "Two and a Half Men" theme song really weird? And isn't it strange that "Two and a Half Men" is right before "The Vampire Diaries" (at least where I watch it)? And did Nina and Ian really break up?! But when the episode opened with Elena back in vampire-slaying mode and Stefan as teacher/coach/whatever, I kind of forgot about these other things. Because, this just seemed weird!

After "giving Stefan 50" (pull-ups, that is. What did you think it was?), Stefan tried to get her to stop obsessing about killing Katherine—to no avail. "Maybe I just want to feel the warmth of her chest cavity," Elena responded. What a one-track mind that Elena has. Yes, she turned on her emotions, but she's still not fully back. What will bring her back? How about breaking on through to the other side? Literally! Bonnie dropped the veil so she could contact Qetsiyah to figure out how to immobilize Silas. Here are the highlights:

1. As you know, Bonnie recruited Katherine to help her with the spell to drop the veil. Katherine had the tombstone with the calcified blood of Qetsiyah. She told Silas she’d drop the veil during the full moon (witches always need a source of power to do huge spells, and "The Vampire Diaries" always needs a full moon for a pre-hiatus episode), but Katherine pointed out that the tombstone of the powerful witch who cast the spell to create the other side would be enough. So Bonnie linked herself to Katherine so that Silas couldn’t get inside Katherine’s head. Except, he probably could’ve. We learned that Bonnie hadn’t mastered his manipulation—Silas just wanted her to think that. But, I’m getting ahead of myself. How many of you want to watch a show where Bonnie and Katherine are connected all the time? (Hands up!) And how many of you were terrified that some crazy shenanigans were going to go on (i.e. Elena accidentally killing Bonnie because of her mission to kill Katherine)?

2. Well, it’s funny you should think that, because that’s almost exactly what happened! Bonnie used the expression triangle to drop the veil, and she had to do the spell right in the center. This part confused me, because the center seems to have been a huge cave directly under the school. Elena finally found Katherine—and a bizarre doppelganger fight ensued! Talk about blaming someone else for everything wrong in your life. The whole Elena-blaming-Katherine-thing is really a great visualization; she’s wrongfully blaming someone else who happens to be her mirror image, hinting that she should be facing inward to find the culprit. Anyway, Stefan stepped in just in time—he had seen Bonnie bleeding and gasping, so he realized that Bonnie and Katherine were linked. After Katherine ran off with a “thanks for the save, handsome," Elena didn’t believe Stefan. He told her that all her rage was making her crazy, and it was the first correct thing he’s said all season. Elena handled this accusation like a pro: She punched him.

3. Right before Bonnie dropped the veil, Sheriff Forbes called Damon and Stefan into the hospital. Five victims were almost entirely drained of blood, and Liz wanted to know if it was Silas. Either that, or what Damon said: "a doctor with a very questionable bedside manner." Anyway, we were in a hospital and Meredith Fell was nowhere to be found, but that was okay, I guess. What’s not okay? WHAT IS SILAS? THE SHOWRUNNERS ARE TREATING HIM LIKE HE’S A VAMPIRE, WHICH WE KNOW HE’S NOT. We know he was a man-witch before he became immortal, which means he’s still that. But his powers, like mind control, have only been shown to us as a vampire power. Additionally, he feeds on blood. Can somebody please explain to me why this witch can feed on blood? It goes against nature to be a vampire and a witch; we all know that. So what the heck is Silas?

4. When Bonnie dropped the veil, a crazy windstorm ensued. At the Grill, Caroline called her mom to see if she knew what was going on. Then she teamed up with Stefan to help look for Bonnie and Katherine. Except, unbeknownst to us, she stayed trapped in the Grill, compelled to cut her wrists over and over again by Silas. Again, another vampire power. GET YOUR MYSTICAL CREATURES STRAIGHT, PEOPLE, AND EXPLAIN WHAT SILAS IS. Guess the Caroline who’s been hanging with Stefan was SILAS all along!

5. Because the veil was dropped, we got to see some of our favorite dead supernatural people! They could only chill within the confines of the expression triangle, but that was cool. Kol showed up, which really excited me, except he was only there to exact revenge on Elena, because Jeremy killed him. And like, I found myself, when Elena was close to death at Kol’s hands, wishing: PLEASE LET HER DIE! I just feel like it’s unreal how many times she’s skirted death, you know? But, of course, she’s alive. JEREMY saved her, with a crossbow and a biting wit: “How many times do I need to kill you?” he asked Kol. And then Stefan snapped Kol’s neck. Kol must be a pretty lame Original if our heroes can always take him. (Just saying.)

6. Oh, and ALARIC came back as well! This was tricky, because I was never really sure if he was Silas or not. Neither was Damon, until he pointed out their secret booze stash in Locker 42. Um, has this ever been mentioned before? I think not. Anyway, it was all heartwarming to see Ric and such. Damon asked if he had nothing better to do, and it’s true—he doesn’t, because "Cult" was quite unfairly cancelled. I hope this means that Alaric’s gonna come hang in Mystic Falls all the time. Other visitors? Lexi! She murmured about a romance with Caroline and Stefan, and who knows? Caroline may be his new Lexi, but it seems like they may be leading up to more.

7. Oh, and Alexander (don’t you want to call him Aleksander, with the whole old-world feel?) arrived. With some more modern members of The Five, Vaughn and Connor. They were zeroing in on Rebekah at the end of the hour. That is going to be one awkward confrontation for Bex.

8. Since expression is a manifestation of your will, Grams told Bonnie that she could do anything—even immobilize Silas. Which she did. He turned to stone, and Damon and Alaric buried him. Except, now we may never get to see who he truly was!

9. But before Alaric buried Silas, he stole the cure from his pocket. And gave it to Damon to get the girl. Game changer.

10. After seeing Elena with Jeremy, Bonnie decided she had to bring him back, again. Er, didn’t we go over this a year ago? Bad idea. And it was, indeed, a bad idea. Because Bonnie used so much power attempting this spell that she killed herself. Yep. Grams was there, talking to ghost Bonnie, looking at the ground of dead body Bonnie. So Bonnie’s dead. Is this for real? I guess we’ll find out...

11. Totally unrelated: I bet Bonnie, like, kills her Latin tests, with all that witch spelling practice.

Next week’s the season finale, and it’s going to be EPIC (the previews say so.) What’s going to happen? Who’s going to take the cure? Elena? Silas? Rebekah? Damon? (How crazy would that be?) Will The Five succeed in killing Silas? How harsh was Elena to Rebekah? Will Rebekah finally get to be with Matt? What’s going to happen to make her go to New Orleans? (‘Cause we all know she’s spinning off.) Is Bonnie really dead? Did she somehow find a way to bring Jeremy back? What about Alaric? Let’s chat about it on Twitter or in the comments!

Penn Badgley Compiles His Jeff Buckley Playlist

Penn Badgley Compiles His Jeff Buckley Playlist

Taylor Momsen and Blake Lively aren't the only former "Gossip Girl" cast members with musical aspirations. The latest to show off his silky smooth vocal cords is co-star Penn Badgley, who stars in the Jeff Buckley biopic, "Greetings From Tim Buckley," which opened last week in New York and Los Angeles and is available on iTunes and video on demand.

For the uninitiated, Jeff Buckley was a singer/songwriter who gained acclaim in the '90s for his music, which in addition to numerous original songs also included a cover of Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah"—perhaps his most enduring work. Jeff's story ended abruptly and tragically when he drowned in Tennessee's Wolf River in 1997. He was only 30.

Penn plays the iconic rocker in the film, which centers around a tribute concert for father Jeff Buckley—himself an acclaimed musician.

When Penn visited our studios recently to talk about the film, he was quick to mention the effect Jeff's music had on his younger years.

"Jeff was a certain kind of influence on me when I was a teenager," Penn said. "I grew up being really passionate about music to the point that I would call it my first passion over acting, so you know, it was somebody who I respected and admired."

To that end, we asked Penn for his Jeff Buckley playlist—the songs he'd recommend to a friend who wasn't familiar with rocker's work. Get Penn's recommendations in the video above!

'Pretty Little Liars' Season 4 Promo Teases More Texts, Dead Bodies

Pretty Little LiarsIntrigue? Check! Text messages? Check! Killer fashions? Quadruple check! KILLINGS? All the checks!

A trailer for the fourth season of “Pretty Little Liars” has just dropped (via The Hollywood Reporter), and judging from the clip, the upcoming episodes promise to have all the mystery we've come to expect from the ABC Family series—and then some.

After opening up the trunk at the end of last season, leaving fans to guess what left the ladies so shocked (is there even anything left to shock them these days?), the teaser picks up where last season left off. And the new season, kicking off on June 11, promises more Toby (still looking shady to us hanging out in the woods all on his own), a frustrated Aria, a red coat burned up in a fire...and another dead body.

"The truth won’t set you free...but...I’m gonna bury you with it," A tells the liars (and Mona) via text message. And then another text comes in. And it’s certain to be a doozy based on Emily’s OMG reaction.

What we’re interested in seeing most this season is how they will set up the “Ravenswood” spin-off, kicking off this fall after the annual “PLL” Halloween special. It’s already been confirmed that Hannah’s hottie boyfriend, Caleb (played by Tyler Blackburn), will be making the move. So, will he breakup with Hannah? Is a long distance romance about to go down? Will Toby join him for a “Perfect Strangers” type spin-off? We really are anxious to see how it all goes down.

Bella Throne Will Get 'Blended' In New Movie Role

Bella ThorneWe're beginning to think Bella Thorne better look into hiring a personal assistant (if she doesn't have one already), because girl keeps racking up the responsibilities. Just days after it was announced the Disney star had inked a multi-book deal with Random House comes news (via Deadline) that Bella has landed a role in the film "Blended."

The romantic comedy re-teams Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore as two single parents who end up on a nightmare blind date at a family resort—with their kids in tow. Bella will play Adam's daughter. The film is due in theaters May 23, 2014.

"Blended" is just the latest project to keep Bella busy. In addition to her upcoming YA novels and series "Shake It Up," the 15-year-old told MTV News recently that she's also working on new music.

"Well, I think what fans can expect is [for it] just to be very different from anyone, because I don’t like to be one of those artists where you can be like ‘Oh yeah, I know them from that song,'" she explained. “All my songs are very different from each other. So I don’t want to be known as only one genre."

Perhaps she should title the album Multi-Tasker.

'Vampire Diaries' Recap: 'She's Come Undone'

Hollywood Crush

'Vampire Diaries' Recap: 'She's Come Undone'

Vampire Diariesby Cassie Title

Picture this: The camera pans in on a scene we've seen many times before, in season one, when our characters actually went to school. The sun is shining, teenagers are laughing and they’re doing this all in front of the high school. And then, Caroline starts telling Elena she’s valedictorian! And Elena can help her with her speech! And Elena should be excited because everybody’s graduating! And then everyone disappears because this scene is really the Salvatores’ latest ploy to get Elena to turn her emotions on. Damon’s doing the whole mind-control-in-your-head thing, which definitely needs explanation, because didn't the show kind of get rid of that power after season one? Or two?

Elena quickly realized this was all in her head, because she felt nothing; why would she want to be at school, with all the excitement of last days? Except, she should’ve realized it wasn't real when Caroline said she was valedictorian. I’m sorry, but what? I love Caroline as much as the next fan, and I get that the show’s made her into a type A I-need-a-project-overachiever girl, but how many of you ever thought that Caroline was supposed to be, well, smart? Or a straight-A student? Apologies, but I was floored.

Another time I was floored? When Damon killed Matt. Yeah, you read that right. Damon killed Matt. To stress this fact, at the time that it happened, I gasped, saying aloud to no one but myself: "DID DAMON JUST KILL MATT?" Yes, friends. Yes, he did.

Why did he do this? Well, Damon’s always had this weird thing with Matt. He thinks he’s useless or something, which isn't exactly true. I mean, sometimes he’s useless to the plot of the show, but usually he’s useful to his friends. Do you think Damon’s secretly jealous of Matt because Elena lost her virginity to him? Or is Damon a secret Rebekah-type, and he’s envious of how “beautifully human” Matt is? Or maybe he finds Matt as boring as I find Elena. Either way, he snapped Matt’s neck, right in front of humanity-less Elena. This was after Damon and Stefan tried to torture her with sunlight, after she tortured herself with sunlight, after Katherine was brought in to torture her and let her run away because she was bored, and after Elena drank a lot of Matt’s blood. And, i the end, it did the trick—snapping Elena back to humanity. Also, despite the fact that I’m sure you all really thought Matt died, he didn't. Damon had him put on a Gilbert ring! Don’t you hope that Matt goes Samantha Gilbert/Alaric on us? And also, how has it taken this long for Matt to wear a Gilbert ring?

They’re all questions that deserve answers, but really all I’m thinking about is what Silas looks like. I know that we saw him for a millisecond and the entire blogosphere is treating it like a big reveal, but really, I have NO IDEA WHAT HE LOOKS LIKE AND I WANT TO KNOW. I guess he’s onto me, because he’s been making it reallllllly difficult. Like, showing up as Klaus, or Liz (she’s Caroline’s mom, in case you forgot). I’m thinking we hadn't seen her in AGES before today. Don’t you miss the days of Damon and Liz? Is that inappropriate now that he’s slept with her daughter’s best friend? AND OH MY GOD HER DAUGHTER TOO! DID LIZ KNOW THEY SLEPT TOGETHER? I know she knows they dated, or whatever you want to call that season one situation, but all I can think about now is how weird their crime-fighting friendship was considering he slept with her much younger (read: over 100 years younger) daughter. Whoa.

Another glossed-over whoa? Caroline’s meeting with Silas/Klaus. Yes, it turned out to be Silas, who "Scream"-ed her—minus those weird face masks—all over town. He was trying to find Bonnie, but I’m just trying to find what’s in Caroline’s heart. Because, Klaus is leaving for his own show, and Tyler’s either coming back because of that or getting some secret new show of his own, unrelated to "The Vampire Diaries," and despite the fact we know how strong Klaus’s feelings are for Caroline, I don’t think we've ever really gotten a clear indication of her feelings for him. Of course, she was sort of able to tell Klaus how she felt when it turned out not to be Klaus at all!

And Klaus was really Silas because Silas was looking for Bonnie, who was apparently in a restaurant meeting with Katherine. This was really exciting, because Katherine is really exciting. I mean, when she’s trying to torture Elena and Elena out-Katherines Katherine, that’s pretty exciting too. But I digress. Bonnie had previously told Silas that she would drop the veil to the other side for him so he could die and be with his one true love. (Which is slightly nonsensical, right, because if he dies he won’t actually “be” with that girl, but whatever.) But ever since, Bonnie’s been in hiding. This has been good for two reasons: 1) it’s given her time to be able to tell when someone is actually Silas, which comes in handy, you can imagine, when Caroline mistakes Silas for her mom and 2) it’s given her time to set up meetings with Katherine. Katherine still has the headstone, which contains Qetsiyah’s blood. Silas was banking on the full moon for Bonnie to do the spell (as you will recall, serious spells require serious sources of power), but Katherine pointed out that Qetsiyah’s blood will do the trick. This is apparently because Qetsiyah’s super-old and powerful and related to Bonnie and performed the spell they’re trying to undo. Anyway, Bonnie go Katherine to agree to give her the headstone by promising her immortality. Apparently, when she drops the veil, she’ll be able to communicate with Qetsiyah, who will be able to do the same for Katherine that she did for Silas. This seems like something that won’t happen at all.

Obviously, this immortality thing is not something that Rebekah was fond of. Homegirl’s desire for humanity is slightly crazy. She was zeroing in on Matt again, and offered to compel his way into straight As and college because he’s failing. Jeez, Bex—for someone who wants so badly to be human, try acting like one! When she offered to help him study, it seemed she may have been finally heading in the right direction.

Oh, and everyone kept saying (including humanity-less Elena) how our protagonist was going to choose Stefan again once she turned it back on. I can’t even talk about the ridiculous nature of this statement. So I won’t even qualify it with another word.

But now that Elena’s humanity is back on, she’s focused on hate. And rage. And wants to kill Katherine, because she thinks that villain created everyone’s pain. Not only will this put a damper in Bonnie’s plan and Elena’s attempt at reclaiming her life, but it seriously threatens my viewing pleasure. I guess we’ll just have to see what happens next week.

Were you happy that Elena finally turned her emotions back on? Were you shocked when it looked like Damon killed Matt? Do you think that Liz somehow had vampire blood in her before she went unconscious and now due to Caroline’s transfusion, is going to be a vampire?! What is Bonnie’s plan in regards to the other side anyway? (I got lost.) When will Elena settle down enough to pick which brother she wants to be with? Let the thinking flow! In the comments below! Or on Twitter. (Wasn't going to try with the rhyming. I sensed it getting old.)

'Girl Most Likely' Trailer: Kristen Wiig Moves In With Mom (And Darren Criss)

Girl Most LikelyWe haven't seen former "Saturday Night Live" player Kristen Wiig in a leading film role since 2011's raunchy romp "Bridesmaids," so thank Gilly that the first trailer for her upcoming comedy "Girl Most Likely" has finally hit internet (via Yahoo!).

Kristen stars as failed playwright Imogene, who after a mental breakdown ends up back at her childhood home in New Jersey and back in the less-than-capable hands of her mother (played by Annette Bening), who's shacking up with her oddball boyfriend (played by Matt Dillon). And—surprise!—Imogene's room's been rented out to fledgling pop star Lee (played by Darren Criss). But, really, that doesn't sound all bad. Slumber party, people!

'Pretty Little Liars' Actor Tyler Blackburn Moving To 'Ravenswood'

Tyler BlackburnWelcome to Ravenswood, Population: 1.

ABC Family has announced the first cast member for its upcoming "Pretty Little Liars" spin-off, and it's a face all too familiar to fans of the juicy series: Tyler Blackburn!

Tyler plays Caleb Rivers, computer hacker extraordinaire and boyfriend to Hanna Marin (played by Ashley Benson). What his move to Ravenswood will mean for his romance with the little liar is unclear, but for his part, Tyler is excited for the change of scenery.

"I am so stoked to head to #Ravenswood @RavenswoodABCF," he tweeted following the announcement. "I promise you won't be disappointed!"

"Ravenswood" centers on a town not far from Rosewood, where five residents find themselves linked by a deadly curse—one they must unravel to save themselves and their town. No word yet on whether Caleb is one of the cursed or just a bystander, but with the kind of luck he's had thus far, we wouldn't be surprised if he had ancient forces working against him.

The pilot episode of "Ravenswood" will premiere after the annual "Pretty Little Liars" Halloween special.

'Downton Abbey' Actress Cast As Cinderella

Lily JamesCinderella's glass slippers may not have been to Emma Watson's liking, but they'll do just fine for Lily James.

The "Downton Abbey" actress has been cast as the fairy tale princess in Disney's live-action film, the studio announced today. Lily will star opposite Cate Blanchett as the evil stepmother in Kenneth Branagh's production.

In addition to her turn as Lady Rose MacClare on the British drama, Lily's appeared in the film "Wrath of the Titans" and on the TV series "Secret Diary of a Call Girl."

The journey to a storybook ending for "Cinderella" has been a windy one. The production was originally envisioned as a much darker tale to be helmed by Mark Romanek, but it later received a Mouse House-friendly makeover with Branagh behind the camera. For her part, this could be a star-making turn for Lily, who's something of an unproven entity in Hollywood.

Happily ever after, TBD.
