Mila Kunis To Produce '70-Set Series For The CW
Mila Kunis must really have a soft spot for bell bottoms and feathered hair. The "That '70s Show" star is set to revisit the disco decade, this time producing a period drama for The CW, Deadline reports.
"Meridian Hill" will follow a young newlywed who joins her Midwest town's Junior League, allying with an eclectic group of women to secure equal rights for the fairer sex. (Something Jackie's gal pal Donna would have approved of, I'm sure!)
No word yet on when the series will hit the airwaves.
Mila will have to juggle producing responsibilities with an increasingly busy film career. The starlet has no fewer than five films premiering in 2013, including "Oz: The Great and Powerful."
For its part, "Meridian Hill" is just the latest time-warp entry for The CW. In January, the network will debut the '80s-set "Carrie Diaries," a prequel to HBO's hit series "Sex and the City."
