Trey Songz Enters 'Texas' And Hump Day Hottiedom
Happy New Year! And what better way to kick off 2013 than with some eye candy? This week’s Hump Day Hottie isn’t just burning up the charts, but also the big screen: Feast your eyes on "Texas Chainsaw 3D" star Trey Songz.
Check out this dreamy photo of Trey, and keep reading for more details about him!
Vital stats: The 28-year-old Virginia native (real name Tremaine Aldon Neverson) grew up in a military family and as a teenager realized he had some golden pipes. So, shortly after high school (and one fateful talent show) he signed a record deal.
Where you might have already seen him: He’s been releasing music since 2005 when he dropped his debut album, I Gotta Make It, and from there he’s been grinding out albums—five to be exact. He just dropped his latest Chapter V last year. He’s also done some acting, playing himself on “Lincoln Heights” (well, that’s sort of acting) and appearing in two other projects, "Queen of Media" and "Preacher's Kid."
Why you should take notice of him now: The Hollywood newbie will tear up the big screen this week in the latest installment in the "Texas Chainsaw" franchise, "Texas Chainsaw 3D."
"The cast has been great in helping me as a new actor just with whatever skills they use or whatever methods they use—how to navigate in certain situations," Trey told MTV News about his transition to acting. "It's been great working with these guys because they've been doing it for a while, although they're still young and very fresh faces. They've been very helpful."
In addition to music, he’s also set to appear in the comedy “Baggage Claim.”
Until next week, when we choose another Hump Day Hottie, you can salute Trey by gawking at the photo above!
