Erik Stocklin Hangs With 'Mistresses' As This Week's Hump Day Hottie

Hollywood Crush

Erik Stocklin Hangs With 'Mistresses' As This Week's Hump Day Hottie

Erik Stocklin is shaping up to be a bit of a creep on the soapy summer series "Mistresses." But, we’re willing to forgive him because he's just that adorable and because we realize it's just a TV show and it's just his job. And, so, in honor of our crush on him, we’re naming Erik this week’s Hump Day Hottie.

Check out this dreamy photo of Erik, and keep reading for more details about him!

Vital stats: Erik grew up in Freehold, New Jersey, and has put in the time to study his craft. He not only attended Southern Connecticut State University where he graduated in 2010 with a degree in theatre, but also spent some time in Haven's Elm Shakespeare Company and Circle in the Square Theatre School in New York. We also can’t help but notice he reminds us of some vintage, Brat Pack-era Andrew McCarthy.

Where you might have already seen him: He’s banked some time on shows like "Vampire Diaries," "First Day" and "Let’s Big Happy."

Why you should take notice of him now: He’s steaming up and creeping out our Monday nights as Sam Grey on ABC’s addictive series “Mistresses.” As much as we’d be totally into Sam crushing on us, we do question his methods of showing it. Breaking and entering does not equal true love. As the season continues to chug along, we do wonder what Sam’s next move is going to be. We’re fairly certain Dr. Karen isn’t swooning at the thought of it despite his boy-next-door looks.

Next up, he’s set to appear in the film “Grey Sheep” soon. Um, we sense a color-related theme in his career here?

Until next week, when we choose another Hump Day Hottie, you can salute Erik by gawking at the photo above!

'Mortal Instruments' Sequel Has Its Eye On Sigourney Weaver

Hollywood Crush

'Mortal Instruments' Sequel Has Its Eye On Sigourney Weaver

Sigourney WeaverEven though we've got another month yet before "Mortal Instruments: City of Bones" has its big theatrical release, it's already full steam ahead for the cast and crew on the sequel, "City of Ashes"—and that, my little leather-clad demon-slaying fanfolk, means casting news. What's the rumor? Oh, just that Hollywood grande dame Sigourney Weaver is on the verge of signing on for a major role in movie No. 2, according to an exclusive scoop from The Hollywood Reporter.

Per the report, Sigourney is eyeing a major role within the league of Shadowhunters: a ruthless leader of the demon-killers' organization whose only desire is vengeance on the man who killed her son. (The official dish doesn't name her character, but fans on the internet are already abuzz with the suggestion that she must be in talks to play Imogen Herondale, also known as the Inquisitor of the Shadowhunters' Clave.)

And while it's not official yet, the actress couldn't be a more perfect pick for the part: She's no stranger to battling monsters as the tough-as-nails leading lady of the "Aliens" franchise, plus she's got relevant executive experience within a demon-related organization thanks to her role as The Director in "Cabin in the Woods." You couldn't find a more qualified candidate! Here's hoping they make her an offer she can't refuse.

Would you like to see Sigourney as the Inquisitor?

Hollywood Crush

Julianne Hough, Nina Dobrev Get Cute On Selena Gomez Party Bus

If you needed more proof that Selena Gomez's 21st birthday was the biggest and best occasion of the year, here it is: Sel had yet another par-tay over the weekend, and attendee Julianne Hough posted a few primo pics on her Instagram feed, making us wish we'd been invited to this truly kick-ass night out. (If you didn't need more proof, and want to just quietly mourn your absence from Selena's birthday shindig whilst sobbing quietly into a vat of cheese...well, carry on, and you don't have to read anymore.)

Not that we'd expect any less from Selena, but this was one seriously stylish event, with lots of ladies decked out in headscarves, silk, and fringe. The bohemian glam vibe? All part of the party plan: The inside scoop from People is that this was a gypsy-themed bash. And if you take a peek at Julianne's photos, you might catch a glimpse of more than one famous face in the well-dressed crowd; not only was the "Safe Haven" star in attendance, but her BFF (and our perennial favorite girl crush) Nina Dobrev was also there...as was Justin Bieber, who stopped by to wish his ex (or is she?!) a very happy 21st. Alas, he didn't stop to join the crowd in taking selfies. One of those background blurs could totally be him, though.

'Gone Girl' Casting: Rosamund Pike Is Amy

Hollywood Crush

'Gone Girl' Casting: Rosamund Pike Is Amy

Rosamund PikeThe "Gone Girl" has been found.

The Hollywood Reporter has the news that "Jack Reacher" actress Rosamund Pike, rumored to be in contention for the role of Amy Dunne, will indeed star opposite Ben Affleck in the big-screen adaptation of Gillian Flynn's best-selling novel.

Directed by David Fincher, the film centers around the disappearance of 30-something Amy on her fifth wedding anniversary, with suspicion—and the ensuing media circus—landing on husband Nick's doorstep.

The role of Amy could be Rosamund's most high-profile to date after turns in "Die Another Day," "Pride & Prejudice" and "Fracture." A number of Hollywood heavyweights were being eyed for the role, including Natalie Portman, Charlize Theron and Emily Blunt.

Also of note in THR's report: Neil Patrick Harris and Tyler Perry are being considered for supporting roles ... as who, we're not sure. But the MTV Newsroom has unanimously agreed that NPH should play Amy's creepy ex-boyfriend, Desi, so we hope you've got our backs on this one, Fincher.

Production on "Gone Girl" is set to begin in September.

'Catching Fire' Star Lenny Kravitz's Favorite Scene Is His Last

Hollywood Crush

'Catching Fire' Star Lenny Kravitz's Favorite Scene Is His Last

Fine, fine, we'll humor you "Hunger Games" noobs who haven't taken the time to devour the series' gripping sequel "Catching Fire" (but, seriously, why not!?!). Though it's safe to say the following interview with star Lenny Kravitz is spoiler free, we can't guarantee it's not without its hints of the action to come.

We caught up with the actor/musician at San Diego Comic-Con, where he helped debut the new trailer for "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" alongside co-stars Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson, and beforehand, he gave us a tease of what to expect from his costume-designing character Cinna.

"You get to see Cinna and Katniss' relationship become closer," Lenny said. "He's really, really behind her. She depends on him, and they trust each other. And he makes some statements with the fashion, sort of political statements that come through in his designs."

When asked what his favorite moment from the film was, well, he said it was his last.

"I won't say what it is," Lenny teased. "But the last scene [Jennifer and I] have together, pretty much. Which means you know."

Yes, Lenny. We know.

Click play on the clip above to hear more from the star, including what it was like having Francis Lawrence take over the director's chair.

"The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" opens November 22.

Are you excited for this sequel? And to see Lenny in action?

'Legend' Author Marie Lu On Film Adaptation, New Book Series

Hollywood Crush

'Legend' Author Marie Lu On Film Adaptation, New Book Series

LegendThe bad news first, "Legend" fans: There's no updates to be had on the movie adaptation of Marie Lu's YA trilogy. The good news: You know that saying "no news is good news," right? Well, in this case, that's probably true.

When Hollywood Crush caught up with Marie at San Diego Comic-Con this weekend, she told us that the film's status is the same as it was last time we updated you: Producers are hunting for a director. "I'm excited by the people they're thinking of, and hopefully it'll pan out," she said cheerfully. "I'm excited to see who they pick and excited to see where it goes from there."

As plenty of authors know, just because a production company buys the film rights to a book doesn't mean it'll get past the development process. But Marie is just happy there's the potential of a "Legend" movie. "When I first wrote the book I didn’t even know that we could sell movie rights. I didn’t know that was, like, a thing you could do, so when it happened I was so excited and I still can’t quite believe it," she said. "I definitely fantasize the possibility of going on set. I’d imagine it would be very surreal to see things that are in your brain laid out in the real world."

Giving up control of something you've spent so much time on is nerve-wracking, but Marie said she's comfortable with any changes producers might want to make. "I know there’s a lot of things that won’t translate well to the screen. They’re just two very different mediums," she said. "Especially with 'Legend'—June as a character, a lot of stuff happens in her head, where she’s constantly thinking about numbers and puzzles. I’m sure that would have to be translated differently. I’ve seen the screenplay, and I really love what they’ve done with it."

Whether we'll see a Marie Lu movie or a new Marie Lu book first depends entirely on how fast the often slow film-making process moves. A new book, on the other hand, is definitely coming. Marie said a first draft of the first book in her new series is two thirds of the way done, and should be released by next fall. "It’ll be a YA fantasy series, and it’s called the 'Young Elites' for now," she said. "I’m sort of pitching it as 'X Men' meets 'Assassin’s Creed.' It’s superheroes but in this fantasy, renaissance-y society. I’ve always wanted to write a fantasy."

And we might not have seen the last of the "Legend" world—Marie said she would be open to revisiting the story in the (far) future. "I never rule anything out. I could see myself potentially revisiting the world in the future, but if it happens, I don’t think it’ll be any time soon," she said. "I think it might be a little while so I can sort of cleanse my palate so I can feel refreshed and ready to go back into the world."

'Carrie Diaries' First Look: It's Samantha Jones!

Lindsey GortManhattan, it's time you met your match.

Mere days after it was announced actress Lindsey Gort had been cast in the role of man-eater Samantha Jones in The CW's "Carrie Diaries" comes our first look at the blonde in character! And it's everything we'd expect from a 1980s Samantha—down to the belly-baring crop top and studded belt.

Producers described the young Samantha thusly (via TVLine): "Through a surprising connection, our young Carrie Bradshaw will meet one of the most important people in her life this season in a role made iconic by Kim Cattrall: Samantha Jones, a ballsy, beautiful and sexy young woman from the panhandle of Florida who has made her way—and already a name for herself—in the rock ’n’ roll scene of 1980s NYC."

The second season of "The Carrie Diaries" picks up during the summer of 1985, with Carrie living in the downtown loft of her Interview magazine boss, Larissa, after a heartbreak back at home. It's during these warm weather months that she meets her soon-to-be BFF. No word yet on what Samantha is doing in the city (besides sex...we assume), so we'll have to tune into The CW later this year when the series returns to find out.

What do you think of this first look at the young Samantha Jones?

YA Blockbuster 'Obsidian' Is Off To The Movies

ObsidianIf you're wondering where to find the next big thing in supernatural romance, here's a little tidbit of news that ought to pique your interest: According to The Hollywood Reporter, Jennifer Armentrout's "Lux" series is off to Hollywood! Sierra Pictures has picked up the option on the majorly best-selling saga. And with five titles anticipated, a film based on the first book, "Obsidian," could kick off the kind of multi-film mayhem that gives the Cullens a run for their money.

As these things go, "Obsidian" starts out sounding like your typical teen romance: a story of the new girl at school and the mysterious, charismatic, cocky boy who steals her heart while simultaneously getting on her very last nerve. But when the boy in question turns out to be some sort of alien hottie at the center of an intergalactic space war, things get very atypical, very fast. Could this be the epic saga that gives that other saga a run for its money? Will the extraterrestrial dude-next-door replace the sparkly vampire as this decade's must-have supernatural boyfriend? DISCUSS.

Ryan Gosling Looks Good At 'Only God Forgives' Premiere

Last night was the big New York premiere of the exciting new thriller "Only God Forgives"—which means that you should clear your morning schedule now, because the next several hours of your day will be spent ogling the roundup of photos of Ryan Gosling, the film's star, looking like a summer-suited dreamboat on the red carpet. A linen suit, an artful scruff, a tantalizing wedge of golden chest flesh visible between the gently parted lapels of his crisp white shirt...uh, did we say "morning"? Scratch that; we're gonna need to take the whole day to consider this sexiness. Alone. With the door locked.

"Only God Forgives" follows the mysterious Julian (Ryan), a drug smuggler working in the high-stakes criminal underworld of Bangkok, Thailand. And if you're getting a sense of deja vu, you're onto something: Ryan chatted with MTV's Josh Horowitz about the parallels between this film and "Drive," which also starred the actor as an enigmatic law-breaker in a performance directed by Nicolas Winding Refn (watch the interview after the jump!).

"Only God Forgives" will be out in limited release on July 19.

'Ravenswood' Makes A Major Cast Change

'Ravenswood' Makes A Major Cast Change

RavenswoodThere's drama afoot in "Ravenswood"! Although the new spin-off series from "Pretty Little Liars" won't be making its way to television until this fall, the show is already making the sort of big, bold move that would ordinarily be reserved for a cliffhanger finale, the sort that has everybody yelling about it on the internet within 60 seconds of the credits rolling.

Here's the dish: According to The Hollywood Reporter, leading lady Elizabeth Whitson has quietly bowed out and made tracks, leaving the show and her role as Olivia to Merritt Patterson, who was originally on board in the role of Olivia's BFF Tess.

Fortunately, filming still hadn't begun on the series-to-be, so this shakeup—major as it is—won't cause any hitchy delays on the much-anticipated debut of the first season. (Unless of course you count the psychological trauma of adjusting to the show's star having a completely different hair color than previously advertised. We weren't prepared for this!)

The show will take place in the same universe as "Pretty Little Liars," following five seemingly unconnected residents of Ravenswood as they try to uncover the supernatural secrets of their strange and accursed zip code. And while the series doesn't make its official debut until after the "Pretty Little Liars" Halloween special, anyone who was watching closely during last night's "PLL" got a sneak peek at the spin-off's setting. Did you see it?

John Gallagher Jr. Enters 'The Newsroom' As This Week's Hump Day Hottie

John Gallagher Jr. Enters 'The Newsroom' As This Week's Hump Day Hottie

John Gallagher Jr. had us swooning on the last season of "The Newsroom." He's just so nice...and incredibly easy on the eyes. What's not to love, right? His adorable charm is anything but news to us. So, with the new season of the HBO series underway, we figured why not show him all the love he deserves and name him this week’s Hump Day Hottie.

Check out this dreamy photo of John, and keep reading for more details about him!

Vital stats: This Wilmington, Delaware, native, 29, was raised by two folk singers, which might explain where all his artsy talent comes from. Around the same time he was making a name for himself on Broadway, he also played in a band called Old Springs Pike, but left the band to be a full-time actor.

Where you might have already seen him: He’s an award-winning stage actor (having taken home three Tonys) for his work in shows like “Spring Awakening” and “American Idiot.” He’s also racked up roles in film and TV, with parts in “NYPD Blue,” “Whatever Works” and “The West Wing.”

Why you should take notice of him now: These days, John has us tuning in every Sunday night. His role as lovable news producer Jim Harper on HBO’s media-themed drama, “The Newsroom,” is hard to resist. Whether or not he does end up with his crush, Maggie, is anyone’s guess (we’re always here to comfort him), but we are looking forward to him hitting the road with the Romney campaign during the show’s just-launched second season. What happens during the Romney campaign, stays on the Romney campaign...or something like that.

Until next week, when we choose another Hump Day Hottie, you can salute John by gawking at the photo above!

'Pretty Little Liars' Recap: 'Under The Gun'

Hollywood Crush

'Pretty Little Liars' Recap: 'Under The Gun'

Pretty Little LiarsWhich was scarier: the fact that there are finally some consequences for all the life and death nonsense on "Pretty Little Liars," or Ravenswood? Man, that is one creepy-ass little town—but the cops finally fingered someone super-close to the liars as the person responsible for Det. Wilden’s death in "Under the Gun."

First, the arrest: Hanna was in custody for burying the gun, and although the cops didn’t suspect she killed Wilden, they knew she was covering for someone else. That cover could be costly, since just being in possession of the weapon could get her seven years in jail. By the end of the episode, ballistics had matched Hanna’s dad’s gun to the one that killed Wilden, and the cops found Ashley’s fingerprints on the bullets. For the second week in a row a Marin woman walked away in handcuffs, but this time it was Hanna’s mom—and things don’t look too good for her.

Now let’s talk about Ravenswood, the perma-blue filtered Pennsylvania city that will soon claim Caleb for its own: Spencer and Toby visited the mysterious town on a quest to find sorority matron Mrs. Grunwald. She insisted she had no idea who Alison was, but that’s not the important part.

This is a seemingly normal, everyday occurrence in Ravenswood that didn’t raise any eyebrows among local residents: While Spencer and Toby searched for Alison clues, some eerie music piped through the town, prompting everyone to gather in front of a park statue and just stand there. It was weird, and even weirder was the fact that Spencer saw Shana, who hopped inside Jenna’s car and drove off. As Spencer and Toby jumped in their Toyota (product placement!) to follow, a raven dive-bombed their windshield and sufficiently creeped them out enough to lose her. Caleb’s got a lot of weird s--t to look forward to on his new show.

Aria had more love-related troubles, because what else is new? Yet another potential suitor was in the mix for her affection, though he didn’t stand a chance since she wasn’t interested in him at all. Her little brother’s friend asked her for homework help and tried to kiss her, but pulled the ol’ "tell everyone at school that we did it" move the next day. Aria was obviously unhappy, but when she confronted him he told everyone about her relationship with Mr. Fitz.

Unfortunately Mr. Fitz didn’t throw down in her honor, but he was spotted creeping around the coffee shop later during Connor’s shift, which also happened to be when someone took a baseball bat to Connor’s car. Although it would be amazing if it were Ezra, I think it was Mike, who felt bad that he called his sister a slut and realized that his friend Connor was a little d-bag.

Emily got into a little trouble of her own at the end of the episode when A sent the cops a video of someone in a shiny Emily mask holding a sign saying “guilty.” Now the cops suspect her of...something, and whoever was in the mask hotwired a car presumably to do something nefarious.

What did you think of the episode? How do you think Hanna’s mom is going to get out of this mess? Why does Aria have SO many boy problems? Is “Ravenswood” the show going to be shot in blue filter exclusively, or will the residents of the town not have to look washed-out all the time? What did you think of the eerie new city?

FROM SPLASH PAGE: In this exclusive featurette that premiered over on MTV Splash Page earlier today, you get a super special look at one of the more surprising stars of "R.I.P.D."

For the most part, "R.I.P.D." is about two dudes, Ryan Reynolds and Jeff Bridges, that hunt the spirits that haunt to world and refuse to move on, but to walk around among the humans, the two supernatural cops need special avatars so they go unnoticed. 'Vampire Diaries' Season 5: Everything We Know So Far

Vampire Diaries"The Vampire Diaries" is getting its higher education on when our favorite Mystic Falls supernaturals return for a new season on The CW. With half the beloved cast relocating to New Orleans (and Tuesday nights) for spin-off "The Originals," there’s some room for new blood. (That was a vampire joke. You’re welcome.)

Can’t wait until October 10 to find out what happens to everyone after that doozy of a season finale? Here’s everything we know about the fifth season so far, now that filming has begun:

After finally graduating from high school, the gang (or at least some of them) heads to nearby Whitmore College for some learning—and let’s be real: a ton more drama. That’s where we’ll meet two new characters. The first is Jesse, an upperclassman with eyes for Caroline—well, maybe not, considering he’s charming and handsome but has a particular disdain from the undead, per Zap2it. (Also, Tyler and Klaus can’t completely be out of the picture yet.)

The second new dude is a "hot but not-so-nice professor who knows more about Mystic Falls than he’s letting on," according to TV Guide, and has a passion for “research that he believes will help humanity.” Does that sound like anyone we know? Paging Professor Shane...

In Salvatore news, Damon will have a run-in with a male doctor who knows all of Damon’s secrets, per TVLine. No offense, but that just sounds plain gross. Who wants to know what deviant things Damon has been up to over the past few hundred years?

TVLine also has scoop on two more characters we’ll meet in the first episode: the mysterious, gorgeous Nadia, who has a sexy dalliance with Matt and Rebekah after meeting them in a Prague bar and also delivers an “ominous warning” to Stefan about the Original family; and the fresh-faced Megan, a smart girl who meets Jeremy at the Mystic Falls High 1950s dance.

'Glee' Stars Reportedly Put A Ring On It

Melissa Benoist Blake JennerWell, here's a pair of lovebirds who are going to make beautiful music together, guaranteed: "Glee" co-stars Blake Jenner and Melissa Benoist, who only recently spilled the beans about their in-real-life relationship, are reportedly gonna get maaaaarried!

Us Weekly has it on good authority (from the ubiquitous "source") that the couple made their engagement official...well, at some point in the past few days, we guess, although there hasn't been a peep from the pair themselves to confirm. Yet. But that's probably just 'cause they're too busy celebrating and kissing and stuff.

Blake and Melissa met on the "Glee" set, which appears to be one of the primo places for two young Hollywood singles to make a connection; they're the second celebrity match to emerge from the show, after longtime couple Lea Michele and Cory Monteith. Looks like there's some magic in the music at McKinley High...or maybe it's just the natural result of cramming such a big cast of hot young things onto one set for several months out of the year. Either way, congrats to the happy couple!

Is this the wedding of the century, or are you holding out for a whole other "Glee" romance?

Style Superstar: Rosamund Pike Plays Hot Pink Peekaboo

We see London, we see France! And today in fabulous fashion moments, we see Rosamund Pike, somehow managing to bare her brassiere on the red carpet without sacrificing even an iota of class. Is this some kind of dark magic?! No! It's just business as usual for a Style Superstar.

Rosamund sported this fresh, white dress with a kicky collar at the "World's End" premiere this week—and from the shoulders up, she's so prim and proper that she could be bound for tea with the Queen. But let your gaze drift down to that peekaboo panel on the front of her dress, and things get spicy: Rather than opting for nude underthings, the actress donned a hot pink bra that not only makes for an eye-catching pop of color, but also matches her shoes, which are downright spectacular. It's a daring move, and this week, it earned her the title of Style Superstar.

And speaking of eye-catching bodice adornments, Olivia Munn was out this week in a sleek, simple black dress that's mostly a great example of Olivia's sophisticated style sense: flattering, unfussy and without any silly accoutrements that might make her look anything less than perfectly polished. Which is why somebody needs to snip away that weird, unnecessary strip of lace ribbon that's strung like a piece of police tape across her decolletage, because it's distracting and it makes no sense and we hate it.

What do you think of this week's style picks? Tell us in the comments and on Twitter!

Taylor Lautner Gets All 'Grown Up' As This Week's Hump Day Hottie

They say absence makes the heart grow fonder, so maybe that's why we're pining for Taylor Lautner this week. As he preps his return to the big screen in "Grown Ups 2," out Friday, we're naming the former "Twilight" star this week’s Hump Day Hottie.

Check out this dreamy photo of Taylor, and keep reading for more details about him!

Vital stats: This 21-year-old grew up right outside Grand Rapids, Michigan. And, as the legend goes, got his start in the world of karate. Soon he was competing in various competitions. Eventually, upon the insistence of the Blue Power Ranger (and founder of Xtreme Martial Arts), Michael Chaturantabut, Taylor looked into acting.

Where you might have already seen him: OBVIOUSLY the entire “Twilight Saga” from beginning to end. But Taylor's other credits include “The Bernie Mac Show,” “Summerland,” “The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl 3-D,” “Cheaper by the Dozen 2,” “Valentine’s Day” and “Abduction.”

Why you should take notice of him now: We’re used to seeing Taylor flex his toned bod, but this week he’ll also show off his funny bone starring alongside Adam Sandler and crew in “Grown Ups 2.” In the follow-up to the 2010 flick Taylor will play an ab-tastic frat boy.

He’s also lined up several other projects including “Tracers," which he's filming now.

Until next week, when we choose another Hump Day Hottie, you can salute Taylor by gawking at the photo above!

Anna Kendrick Flips Over 'Cups'

"Pitch Perfect" actress Anna Kendrick must be so busy making movies that she doesn't have much time to listen to the radio, because the 27-year-old is just now catching her catchy "Cups" on the airwaves! (Warning: A bit of strong language follows...)

The single's already spent several weeks on the Billboard charts and sold more than 1.3 million copies, so it's about time Anna notice her success...sans downward spiral, of course!

'Austenland' Trailer: Keri Russell Searches For Her Own Mr. Darcy

'Austenland' Trailer: Keri Russell Searches For Her Own Mr. Darcy

AustenlandIf the idea of violence towards a life-size cutout of Colin Firth as Regency-era rogue Mr. Darcy necessitates a fainting couch and the administration of smelling salts, you may want to avert your eyes from the new trailer for "Austenland," based on the 2007 novel by Shannon Hale. If, however, you possess the constitution of a horse, then by all means, please partake.

"Austenland" follows Mr. Darcy-obsessed Jane Hayes (played by Keri Russell), who blows her life savings on a stay at the world's only immersive Austen experience (according to a bonneted Jane Seymour). But even surrounded by all things Jane, our heroine doesn't fit in: She's banished to the servants' wing in the creepy tower and thought of as "peculiar" by the band of Mr. Darcy impersonators (who, let's be honest, probably have "peculiar" listed as job skill on their resumes). But like one of her favorite author's protagonists, Jane vows to follow her own path. "An Austen heroine gets engaged by the end of the book, and that's what I'm going to do," she muses.

Lucky for her, there are a number of eligible suitors among the Darcy stand-ins, including comely JJ Feild and Bret McKenzie. Swoon, indeed.

Produced by "Twilight" author Stephenie Meyer, "Austenland" opens August 16.

Kat Graham's 'Vampire Diaries' Fate? 'It's Up To Them!'

Kat Graham's 'Vampire Diaries' Fate? 'It's Up To Them!'

At the end of the season four of "The Vampire Diaries," the game completely changed. And, we mean, like, everything about everything we knew about our favorite characters became way different. (SPOILERS AHEAD IF YOU HAVEN'T WATCHED THE EPISODE!)

During the season finale, the kids graduated. Stefan became bad boy demon, Silas. Katherine (whom Nina Dobrev promises will be as naughty as ever) crossed over to the human side. And Bonnie died, giving her love and Elena’s only relative, Jeremy, another chance at life.

So it would seem given Bonnie’s fate, fans may not see much of her come season five. But, Kat Graham is holding out hope that this isn't the last we've seen of the witch. She told MTV News at the BET Awards last Sunday, “Basically we're getting ready for the fifth season, so I don’t really know. I ended the last season dead, so it’s kind of up to them where it’s going to go. I don’t really know.”

Still, she’s ready to shoot once she learns her fate. She added, "I’m just gearing up to start shooting it in a week or so."

Regardless of what happens to Bonnie, Kat is busy with her music career. She opened up to us about it, sharing that her new single, “Power," will be a part of a new EP.

"This new single that just premiered this past week on Billboard is called ‘Power,’ and it comes out on iTunes on the 23rd of July," she said. "I’m excited. I’m excited to shoot the art for it and just be a part of the whole process of creating something new and a new image. It’s cool. It’s exciting.”

Speaking of Kat’s music, we recently spoke to “Power” producer/songwriter Jason Evigan who dished on what it’s like to hit the studio with the funky actress/singer.

“Like easy going, super-cool, super-laid back. She’s very genuine, very sweet, very excited. Very passionate about her artistry,” he said of working with her during the recording sessions. “We recorded one whole session and realized it was in the wrong key. She was so down to come in and do the whole song again. She was a champion.”

Demi Lovato Hints That She's Feeling 'Divergent'

Demi LovatoToday in exciting theories about our favorite celebs: Could it be that Demi Lovato, the lovely and talented artist and "X Factor" judge, is as big a fan of YA literature as we are? Let's just say that it seems delightfully likely!

Fresh on the heels of the announcement that Demi would have a new song, "Heart by Heart," on the soundtrack for "The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones," the singer hinted at another book-to-film adaptation that she'd like to make a musical contribution to—retweeting a fan's suggestion that her new song "Fire Starter" would make a perfect addition to the soundtrack for "Divergent."

The original tweet from @melcfly read, "Fire Starter HAS to be on Divergent's soundtrack. IT IS SO DAUNTLESS AND TRIS AND SKFNSLFNALFJ."

Apparently, Demi agrees that "Fire Starter" is, indeed, very Dauntless and Tris and skfnslfnalfj. (True story: Just the other day, we were like, hey, isn't Demi's new album just so skfnslfnalfj? Especially when she skfnslfnalfj the skfnslfnalfj on that skfnslfnalfjing skfnslfnalfj!) And what if it doesn't stop there?! Could we be seeing her on the soundtracks for "Maze Runner" and "The Fault in Our Stars," too? Is making music for amazing YA books-turned-movies her artistic destiny? DISCUSS.

New 'Mortal Instruments' Trailer: Rune The Day You Messed With Clary Fray

New 'Mortal Instruments' Trailer: Rune The Day You Messed With Clary Fray

Mortal InstrumentsWith the August 21 release date of "The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones" looming large, this week has been positively bursting with Shadowhunter-related releases, including the film's soundtrack listing (Demi Lovato! Jessie J! Zedd!) and an admission from star Jamie Campbell Bower that sequel "City of Ashes" will begin filming in September. Add to the list a new trailer from Yahoo!, and we couldn't ask for much more. (Except an early screening, of course. Get at us, Sony!)

Now, we've reached the point in the promotion cycle where there's not much fresh footage left to reveal without giving away, you know, the entire movie. That being said, this trailer does serve up a few tasty morsels worth chewing on.

For one, we've loving this close-up (above) of Clary (Lily Collins) sketching a shirtless Jace—runes included. Our heroine may not be a physical match for the Shadowhunters just yet, but if you've read the Cassandra Clare novel upon which the film is based, you know she has other skills that will serve the demon destroyers well.

Mortal InstrumentsThere's also a neat sepia-toned photo of Clary's mom, Jocelyn (Lena Headey)—a former Shadowhunter—alongside the two most integral men in her life: husband Valentine (Jonathan Rhys Meyers) and best friend Luke (Aidan Turner). Clary knows nothing of her mom's ties with the ancient race, as Jocelyn hid her past to protect her young daughter. But secrets have a way of coming out, don't they?

And, because we're such enthusiastic Simon (Robert Sheehan) supporters, we have to point out the moment at the :20 second mark where the boy next door brings Clary a cup of coffee. Because, awwwwwwww.

Check out the full trailer below!

Sam Rockwell And A Gimp Go Way, Way Back In New After Hours

Sam Rockwell And A Gimp Go Way, Way Back In New After Hours

You know what's weird? Up until literally two minutes ago, we always thought it would be fun and exciting to arrive at a hotel, only to discover that—through some sort of fortuitous front-desk screw-up—we'd actually be sharing a single room with mega-talented actor Sam Rockwell (star of "The Way, Way Back"). Seems like kind of a good time, right? But thanks to Josh Horowitz and the latest episode of After Hours, we can scrub that little fantasy right off our psyche, because this is some weirdo shizz, y'all.

The deal is as follows: In this latest installment of our series, MTV's ubiquitous celebrity interviewer finds himself having a surprise sleepover with Sam...and an unusual guest, who you might recognize from either a) mid-1990s hit film "Pulp Fiction", or b) the first season of "American Horror Story," in which a mysterious latex-clad entity created much hullabaloo in Murder House. (Personally, we'd feel better assuming that it's Evan Peters in there? But you are your own master!)

What happens when the man in the black rubber sex suit shows up to party with Sam Rockwell and the hapless Josh? We'll give you a hint: nothing good! Although we will say this: Nobody douses anybody's underpants with water and then sticks them in the freezer, which means this is still pretty much the least sadistic slumber party we've ever seen.

Peep Five EXCLUSIVE Stills From 'The Maze Runner'!

Peep Five EXCLUSIVE Stills From 'The Maze Runner'!

Never before have we been this excited about a bunch of non-descript pictures of grimy, sweaty young men (plus one occasional girl) running around a barren landscape for no apparent reason: The first, EXCLUSIVE batch of stills from the upcoming "Maze Runner" movie made their debut on MTV, and ohmigod, they're fabulous. Everyone is so sweaty! And scared-looking! And carrying machetes!

This first look at the movie adaptation of the bestselling dystopian novel is all we'd ever hoped for in a sneak peek...minus a glimpse of the maze-dwelling monsters, of course, but whatever, you can't have everything.

The five new stills mostly show the film's cast—led by Dylan O'Brien and with supporting stars Kaya Scodelario, Aml Ameen and Thomas Brodie-Sangster—as they negotiate the terrors of the concrete maze and grassy Glade where they've been mysteriously dumped by captors unknown.

One shot shows the group running, torches and weapons in hand, toward the dark, creepy opening to the film's titular maze; another shows them running away with freaked-out faces from some unseen menace, or maybe a fire! And if you'd ever wondered what the delivery system looks like that conveys the kids from the outside world to their home at the center of the maze, it appears that we're getting a peek at it here: that shot of the boys surrounding a metal cage set into the ground is almost definitely from the part where Teresa, the maze's only female resident, arrives on the scene. (And judging by the doofy grins on the boys' faces, she's a welcome addition.)

"The Maze Runner" hits theaters February 14, 2014.

'Divergent' First Footage Will Debut At Comic-Con

DivergentGird your loins, "Divergent" fans—and prepare to keep 'em clenched nice and tight for the next few weeks, right on up to the great Comic-Con gathering of glorious geeks taking place in beautiful San Diego later this month.

The reason for all this loin-girding? Some extremely exciting scoop from Summit Entertainment, who announced today that the first-ever footage from the dystopian teen thriller will be debuting July 18 at the Con, right alongside a panel discussion with the film's heavy hitters both on-screen and behind the camera. Stars Shailene Woodley and Theo James will be there, plus author Veronica Roth and director Neil Burger.

This is some seriously top-secret stuff, so there's not so much as a whisper yet about what moment from the story we might be seeing in this first glimpse of the "Divergent" movie. (Personally, we'd like to see some knife-throwing scenes from the Dauntless compound—but we'll settle for a shot or two of Tris jumping onto a moving train.)

Either way, we'll be there to see exactly how much excitement follows the big reveal: MTV is headed to Comic-Con for the duration, beginning with the "Teen Wolf" panel on July 17 and featuring interviews and special exclusives all weekend long.

And "Divergent isn't the only movie making a major announcement at the big West Coast geekstravaganza: The producers of "Catching Fire" have promised a brand-new trailer for the long-awaited sequel to last year's "The Hunger Game" as well. So basically, you should be gearing up for a non-stop multi-day nerdgasm from the moment the first cosplayer hits the floor.

Two 'Pitch Perfect' Stars Are Making Beautiful Music Together

Skylar Astin Anna CampPrepare to die of cuteness, you guys: Anna Camp and Skylar Astin are an item. An adorable item. An amazing item. The kind of item you yearn to be a part of, as you sit on the couch with your cat, re-watching the BBC "Pride and Prejudice" box set for the hundredth time, tearfully wondering why you, too, cannot be one half of a devastatingly perfect couple. (Don't worry, darling! Your prince will come... someday.)

According to an exclusive scoop from Us Weekly, Anna and Skylar made their first official paired-up appearance at an event last week—although if you've been watching the red carpet (or Anna's Instagram feed) carefully, you might have noticed them together earlier this month at the "True Blood" season six premiere party.

Anna and Skylar have been close for a while—meeting through friends, and working together on the wildly popular "Pitch Perfect" last year—but things didn't get spicy until this spring, when Anna separated and filed for divorce from her husband, Michael Mosley. And while the end of a marriage is always sad, we can't be too devastated about it if this ridiculously cute new romance is the result. Look at them! They're glowing. We love it.
