Lea Michele Tweets First Day Back At 'Glee'

While Lea Michele has maintained a relatively low profile over the last few weeks following boyfriend Cory Monteith's death, the singer/actress is back working again. Lea stepped back on set on Tuesday, bringing the Gleeks along for her first day of shooting.

In an image posted to her Twitter account, Lea was photographed on set in a red skirt and black top with her hair pulled back into a ponytail. While it’s unclear what’s happening in the scene she was shooting (she does look deep in thought), she did share, “Feels so good to be home... #GleeSeason5.”

The day before hitting the set, Michele stopped by the recording studio to lay down tracks for the show’s new season, which will premiere on September 26 on Fox. She wrote, "Couldn't have picked a more beautiful & perfect song to start the year with."

It was Lea who gave show creator Ryan Murphy the go-ahead to start filming the new season following Cory's death. Over the weekend, the show released an In Memoriam video to honor the late actor. The show also has plans to pay tribute to Cory during the October 10 episode of the series.
