Kevin Zegers Is Engaged To His Longtime Ladyfriend

Here's the most heartwarming thing you'll read all day: Kevin Zegers, who just got engaged to longtime girlfriend Jaime Feld, explaining to ET Canada (via People) just how he orchestrated his big plans to put a ring on it:

"I designed [the ring] and did a specific movie to pay for [it]," he said.

How adorable (and financially responsible!) is that?! We think we can guess which movie, too—seeing as he's one of the star Shadowhunters in the upcoming movie adaptation of "The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones."

The pair are planning to wed this summer, which means that the August premiere of "Mortal Instruments" could be their very first public outing as husband and wife! The only question now, obviously, is whether his experience making the film inspired him when it came time to design his bride-to-be's bling; if it were us, we'd totally build some seraph blades into that sparkly little sucker.
