Move over, vampire boyfriends! Check yourself, dystopian dramas! The big exciting thing in YA lit today is a lovely, funny break from the bleak and bloody stuff we've been reading lately: our EXCLUSIVE cover reveal for Robyn Schneider's "The Beginning of Everything." Because sometimes, y'all, you need to put down the end-of-the-world stuff and just enjoy a sunny yellow novel with a rollercoaster motif. Wheee!

This is the author's first turn as a writer for teens, but she's 100 percent plugged in to all the loves of the young literati: Robyn is a pro vlogger and proud radio commentator for Doctor Who Online, and she's super-fun and funny. And in her YA debut, she tackles a story in which a devastating accident sends a young tennis star on a surprising new path—one full of old friends, new love and a peculiarly intimate acquaintance with hospital food.

And just in case you need another reason to add this one to your to-read list: writer Sarah Mlynowski declares on the book's cover that "I have no doubt that girls everywhere are going to fall madly, deeply, hopelessly in love with [protagonist] Ezra Faulkner."
